योशियाहले यहूदाका शहरहरूबाट सबै पूजाहारीहरूलाई निकाले। उसले ती पूजाहारीहरूले धूप जलाउने उच्च ठाउँहरू गेबादेखि बेर्शेवासम्मलाई अपवित्र तुल्याइदिए। योशियाहले यहोशूको देब्रेपट्टिको द्वार भएको उच्च ठाउँ भत्काइदिए। (यहोशू त्यस शहरको शासक थिए।)
