त्यस मिश्रीले दाऊदलाई अमालेकीहरू भएको ठाउँमा पुर्यायो। त्यसबेला अमालेकीहरू खाँदै र पिउँदै भुइँमा पल्टिरहेका थिए। तिनीहरूले पलिश्ती र यहूदाका क्षेत्रबाट जे-जे लूटेका थिए त्यहीसँग रमाइलो मनाइरहेका थिए।

And down, him brought had he when	וַיֹּ֣רִדֵ֔הוּ	wayyōridēhû	va-YOH-ree-DAY-hoo
behold,	וְהִנֵּ֥ה	wĕhinnē	veh-hee-NAY
abroad spread were they	נְטֻשִׁ֖ים	nĕṭušîm	neh-too-SHEEM
upon	עַל	ʿal	al
all	פְּנֵ֣י	pĕnê	peh-NAY
	כָל	kāl	hahl
