1 Samuel 21:9
दाऊदले अहीमेलेकलाई सोधे, “यहाँ एउटा भाला अथवा तरवार केही छ? राजाको ज्यादै जरूरी काम छ। मलाई छिटै जानु छ। मैले तरवार अथवा अन्य कुनै शस्त्र साथमा लिएर आइनँ।”

| of Elah, | הָֽאֵלָ֗ה | hāʾēlâ | ha-ay-LA |
| behold, | הִנֵּה | hinnē | hee-NAY |

| thou wilt take | אֹתָ֤הּ | ʾōtāh | oh-TA |
| take that, | תִּֽקַּח | tiqqaḥ | TEE-kahk |
