एउटा नोकरले भन्यो, “एउटा यिशै नाउँका मानिस छन्। बेतलेहेममा बस्छन्। मैले देखेको छु यिशैको छोरा। उसले कसरी वीणा बजाउनु पर्छ जान्दछ। उ साह्रै वीर र युद्ध गर्न जान्दछ। उ साह्रै फुर्तिलो र सुन्दर छ। परमप्रभु पनि उसैको साथ हुनुहुन्छ।”

spake	יְהוָ֖ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
unto	אֵלַ֥י	ʾēlay	ay-LAI
me, saying,	לֵאמֹֽר׃	lēʾmōr	lay-MORE

Then answered	וַיַּעַן֩	wayyaʿan	va-ya-AN
one	אֶחָ֨ד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
of the servants,	מֵֽהַנְּעָרִ֜ים	mēhannĕʿārîm	may-ha-neh-ah-REEM
said, and	וַיֹּ֗אמֶר	wayyōʾmer	va-YOH-mer
Behold,	הִנֵּ֨ה	hinnē	hee-NAY
I have seen	רָאִ֜יתִי	rāʾîtî	ra-EE-tee
son a	בֵּ֣ן	bēn	bane
of Jesse	לְיִשַׁי֮	lĕyišay	leh-yee-SHA
the Bethlehemite,	בֵּ֣ית	bêt	bate
cunning is that	הַלַּחְמִי֒	hallaḥmiy	ha-lahk-MEE
in playing,	יֹדֵ֣עַ	yōdēaʿ	yoh-DAY-ah
mighty a and	נַ֠גֵּן	naggēn	NA-ɡane
