फेरि शाऊलले भने, “मानिसहरूलाई गएर भन कि प्रत्येक मानिसले साँढे र भेडा लिएर मकहाँ आओस्। यहाँ तिनीहरूले आफ्ना साँढे र भेडा मार्नुपर्छ। परमप्रभु विरूद्ध पाप काम नगर! रगतै समेतको मासु नखाओ।”त्यस रात प्रत्येकले आ-आफ्नो पशुहरू ल्याएर त्यहाँ मारे।

spake	יְהוָ֖ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
unto	אֵלַ֥י	ʾēlay	ay-LAI
me, saying,	לֵאמֹֽר׃	lēʾmōr	lay-MORE

And Saul	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר	wayyōʾmer	va-YOH-mer
said,	שָׁא֣וּל	šāʾûl	sha-OOL
Disperse yourselves	פֻּ֣צוּ	puṣû	POO-tsoo
people, the among	בָעָ֡ם	bāʿām	va-AM
and say	וַֽאֲמַרְתֶּ֣ם	waʾămartem	va-uh-mahr-TEM
unto them, Bring me hither	לָהֶ֡ם	lāhem	la-HEM
	הַגִּ֣ישׁוּ	haggîšû	ha-ɡEE-shoo
every man	אֵלַי֩	ʾēlay	ay-LA
his ox,	אִ֨ישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
and every man	שׁוֹר֜וֹ	šôrô	shoh-ROH
sheep, his	וְאִ֣ישׁ	wĕʾîš	veh-EESH
and slay	שְׂיֵ֗הוּ	śĕyēhû	seh-YAY-hoo

that night,	בְיָ֛דוֹ	bĕyādô	veh-YA-doh
and slew	הַלַּ֖יְלָה	hallaylâ	ha-LA-la
