1 Kings 14:9
तर तिम्रा पापहरू पहिलेका शासकहरूका भन्दा धेरै छन्। तिमीले तिम्रो आफ्नै निम्ति अन्य देवताहरूका मूर्ति बनायौ अनि यस द्वारा तिमीहरूले मलाई एकदमै क्राोधित बनायौ, तिमीहरूले मलाई तिमीहरूको पीठ पछि राखेका छौ।

| thee: for thou hast gone | וַתֵּ֡לֶךְ | wattēlek | va-TAY-lek |
| and made | וַתַּֽעֲשֶׂה | wattaʿăśe | va-TA-uh-seh |
| other thee | לְּךָ֩ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| gods, | אֱלֹהִ֨ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| and molten images, | אֲחֵרִ֤ים | ʾăḥērîm | uh-hay-REEM |
| anger, to me provoke to | וּמַסֵּכוֹת֙ | ûmassēkôt | oo-ma-say-HOTE |
| and hast cast | לְהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי | lĕhakʿîsēnî | leh-hahk-ee-SAY-nee |
| me behind | וְאֹתִ֥י | wĕʾōtî | veh-oh-TEE |
| thy back: | הִשְׁלַ֖כְתָּ | hišlaktā | heesh-LAHK-ta |
| אַֽחֲרֵ֥י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY | |
| גַוֶּֽךָ׃ | gawwekā | ɡa-WEH-ha |
