Nehemiah 8 in Tamil

1 ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்வாசலுக்கு முன்னான வீதியிலே ஒருமனப்பட்டுக் கூடி, கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கற்பித்த மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தைக் கொண்டுவரவேண்டுமென்று வேதபாரகனாகிய எஸ்றாவுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள். And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

2 அப்படியே ஏழாம் மாதம் முதல்தேதியில் ஆசாரியனாகிய எஸ்றா நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தைப் புருஷரும் ஸ்திரீகளும், கேட்டு அறியத்தக்க அனைவருமாகிய சபைக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டுவந்து, And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

3 தண்ணீர் வாசலுக்கு முன்னான வீதிக்கு எதிரேயிருந்து காலமேதொடங்கி மத்தியானமட்டும் புருஷருக்கும் ஸ்திரீகளுக்கும், கேட்டு அறியத்தக்க மற்றவர்களுக்கும் முன்பாக அதை வாசித்தான்; சகல ஜனங்களும் நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்திற்குக் கவனமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்தார்கள். And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

4 வேதபாரகனாகிய எஸ்றா அதற்கென்று மரத்தால் செய்யப்பட்ட ஒரு பிரசங்கபீடத்தின்மேல் நின்றான்; அவனண்டையில் அவனுக்கு வலதுபக்கமாக மத்தித்தியாவும், செமாவும், அனாயாவும், உரியாவும், இல்க்கியாவும் மாசெயாவும், அவனுக்கு இடதுபக்கமாகப் பெதாயாவும், மீசவேலும், மல்கியாவும், அசூமும், அஸ்பதானாவும், சகரியாவும், மெசுல்லாமும் நின்றார்கள். And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

5 எஸ்றா சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் உயரநின்று, சகல ஜனங்களும் காணப் புஸ்தகத்தைத் திறந்தான்; அவன் அதைத்திறந்தபோது, ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் எழுந்துநின்றார்கள். And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:

6 அப்பொழுது எஸ்றா மகத்துவமுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரித்தான்; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் தங்கள் கைகளைக் குவித்து, அதற்கு மறுமொழியாக, ஆமென் ஆமென் என்று சொல்லி, குனிந்து, முகங்குப்புறவிழுந்து, கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொண்டார்கள். And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

7 யெசுவா, பானி, செரெபியா, யாமின், அக்கூப், சபெதாயி, ஒதியா, மாசெயா கேலிதா, அசரியா, யோசபாத், ஆனான், பெலாயா என்பவர்களும், லேவியரும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை ஜனங்களுக்கு விளங்கப்பண்ணினார்கள்; ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் நிலையிலே நின்றார்கள். Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

8 அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணப் புஸ்தகத்தை தீர்க்கதரிசனமாக வாசித்து, அர்த்தஞ்சொல்லி, வாசித்ததை அவர்களுக்கு விளங்கப்பண்ணினார்கள். So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

9 ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டபோது, அழுதபடியால் திர்ஷாதா என்னப்பட்ட நெகேமியாவும், வேதபாரகனாகிய எஸ்றா என்னும் ஆசாரியனும், ஜனங்களுக்கு விளக்கிக்காட்டின லேவியரும் சகல ஜனங்களையும் நோக்கி: இந்த நாள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமான நாள்; நீங்கள் துக்கப்படவும் அழவும் வேண்டாம் என்றார்கள். And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

10 பின்னும் அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய்க் கொழுமையானதைப் புசித்து, மதுரமானதைக் குடித்து, ஒன்றுமில்லாதவர்களுக்குப் பங்குகளை அனுப்புங்கள்; இந்த நாள் நம்முடைய ஆண்டவருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமான நாள், விசாரப்படவேண்டாம்; கர்த்தருக்குள் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பதே உங்களுடைய பெலன் என்றான். Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

11 லேவியரும் ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் அமர்த்தி: அழாதிருங்கள், இந்த நாள் பரிசுத்தமான நாள், விசாரப்படவேண்டாம் என்றார்கள். So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

12 அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளை உணர்ந்துகொண்டபடியால், புசித்துக் குடிக்கவும், பங்குகளை அனுப்பவும், மிகுந்த சந்தோஷம் கொண்டாடவும் போனார்கள். And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

13 மறுநாளில் ஜனத்தின் சகல வம்சத்தலைவரும், ஆசாரியரும், லேவியரும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் வார்த்தைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று வேதபாரகனாகிய எஸ்றாவினிடத்தில் கூடி வந்தார்கள். And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

14 அப்பொழுது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் ஏழாம் மாதத்தின் பண்டிகையிலே கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருக்கவேண்டும் என்று கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கற்பித்த காரியம் எழுதியிருக்கிறதைக் கண்டவர்கள். And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

15 ஆகையால் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி கூடாரங்களைப் போடும்படிக்கு நீங்கள் மலைகளுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய் ஒலிவக்கிளைகளையும், காட்டு ஒலிவக்கிளைகளையும், மிருதுச் செடிகளின் கிளைகளையும் பேரீச்ச மட்டைகளையும், அடர்ந்தமரக்கிளைகளையும் கொண்டுவாருங்களென்று தங்களுடைய சகல பட்டணங்களிலும், எருசலேமிலும் கூறிப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தினார்கள். And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

16 அப்படியே ஜனங்கள் வெளியேபோய் அவைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவரவர் தங்கள் வீடுகள்மேலும், தங்கள் முற்றங்களிலும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயப்பிராகாரங்களிலும், தண்ணீர்வாசல் வீதியிலும், எப்பிராயீம் வாசல் வீதியிலும் தங்களுக்குக் கூடாரங்களை போட்டார்கள். So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

17 இந்தப்பிரகாரமாகச் சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து திரும்பி வந்தவர்களின் சபையார் எல்லாரும் கூடாரங்களைப்போட்டு, கூடாரங்களில் குடியிருந்தார்கள்; இப்படியே நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவின் நாட்கள்முதல் அந்நாள்மட்டும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் செய்யாதிருந்து இப்பொழுது செய்தபடியால், மிகுந்த சந்தோஷமுண்டாயிருந்தது. And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

18 முதலாம் நாள் தொடங்கிக் கடைசிநாள்மட்டும், தினம்தினம் தேவனுடைய நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகம் வாசிக்கப்பட்டது; ஏழுநாள் பண்டிகையை ஆசரித்தார்கள்; எட்டாம்நாளோவெனில், முறைமையின்படியே விசேஷித்த ஆசரிப்பு நாளாயிருந்தது. Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.

1 Janangal ellaarum thannnneervaasalukku munnaana veethiyilae orumanappattuk kooti, Karththar isravaelukkuk karpiththa Mosesyin niyaayappiramaana pusthakaththaik konnduvaravaenndumentu vaethapaarakanaakiya esraavukkuch sonnaarkal. And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

2 Appatiyae aelaam maatham muthalthaethiyil aasaariyanaakiya esraa niyaayappiramaanaththaip purusharum sthireekalum, kaettu ariyaththakka anaivarumaakiya Sabaikku munpaakak konnduvanthu, And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

3 Thannnneer vaasalukku munnaana veethikku ethiraeyirunthu kaalamaethodangi maththiyaanamattum purusharukkum sthireekalukkum, kaettu ariyaththakka mattavarkalukkum munpaaka athai vaasiththaan; sakala janangalum niyaayappiramaana pusthakaththirkuk kavanamaaych sevikoduththaarkal. And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

4 Vaethapaarakanaakiya esraa atharkentu maraththaal seyyappatta oru pirasangapeedaththinmael nintan; avananntaiyil avanukku valathupakkamaaka maththiththiyaavum, semaavum, anaayaavum, uriyaavum, ilkkiyaavum maaseyaavum, avanukku idathupakkamaakap pethaayaavum, meesavaelum, malkiyaavum, asoomum, aspathaanaavum, sakariyaavum, mesullaamum nintarkal. And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

5 Esraa sakala janangalukkum uyaranintu, sakala janangalum kaanap pusthakaththaith thiranthaan; avan athaiththiranthapothu, janangal ellaarum elunthunintarkal. And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:

6 Appoluthu esraa makaththuvamulla thaevanaakiya karththarai sthoththiriththaan; janangalellaarum thangal kaikalaik kuviththu, atharku maraுmoliyaaka, Amen Amen entu solli, kuninthu, mukanguppuravilunthu, karththaraip panninthukonndaarkal. And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

7 Yesuvaa, paani, serepiyaa, yaamin, akkoop, sapethaayi, othiyaa, maaseyaa kaelithaa, asariyaa, yosapaath, aanaan, pelaayaa enpavarkalum, laeviyarum, niyaayappiramaanaththai janangalukku vilangappannnninaarkal; janangal thangal nilaiyilae nintarkal. Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

8 Avarkal thaevanutaiya niyaayappiramaanap pusthakaththai theerkkatharisanamaaka vaasiththu, arththanjaொlli, vaasiththathai avarkalukku vilangappannnninaarkal. So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

9 Janangal ellaarum niyaayappiramaanaththin vaarththaikalaik kaettapothu, aluthapatiyaal thirshaathaa ennappatta nekaemiyaavum, vaethapaarakanaakiya esraa ennum aasaariyanum, janangalukku vilakkikkaattina laeviyarum sakala janangalaiyum Nnokki: intha naal ungal thaevanaakiya karththarukkup Parisuththamaana naal; neengal thukkappadavum alavum vaenndaam entarkal. And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

10 Pinnum avan avarkalai Nnokki: neengal poyk kolumaiyaanathaip pusiththu, mathuramaanathaik kutiththu, ontumillaathavarkalukkup pangukalai anuppungal; intha naal nammutaiya aanndavarukkup Parisuththamaana naal, visaarappadavaenndaam; karththarukkul makilchchiyaayiruppathae ungalutaiya pelan entan. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

11 Laeviyarum janangalaiyellaam amarththi: alaathirungal, intha naal Parisuththamaana naal, visaarappadavaenndaam entarkal. So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

12 Appoluthu janangal ellaarum thangalukku arivikkappatta vaarththaikalai unarnthukonndapatiyaal, pusiththuk kutikkavum, pangukalai anuppavum, mikuntha santhosham konndaadavum ponaarkal. And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

13 Maraுnaalil janaththin sakala vamsaththalaivarum, aasaariyarum, laeviyarum, niyaayappiramaanaththin vaarththaikalai arinthukollavaenndum entu vaethapaarakanaakiya esraavinidaththil kooti vanthaarkal. And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

14 Appoluthu niyaayappiramaanaththilae, Israel puththirar aelaam maathaththin panntikaiyilae koodaarangalil kutiyirukkavaenndum entu Karththar Mosesyaikkonndu karpiththa kaariyam eluthiyirukkirathaik kanndavarkal. And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

15 Aakaiyaal eluthiyirukkirapati koodaarangalaip podumpatikku neengal malaikalukkup purappattuppoy olivakkilaikalaiyum, kaattu olivakkilaikalaiyum, miruthuch setikalin kilaikalaiyum paereechcha mattaைkalaiyum, adarnthamarakkilaikalaiyum konnduvaarungalentu thangalutaiya sakala pattanangalilum, erusalaemilum koorip pirasiththappaduththinaarkal. And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

16 Appatiyae janangal veliyaepoy avaikalaik konnduvanthu, avaravar thangal veedukalmaelum, thangal muttangalilum, thaevanutaiya aalayappiraakaarangalilum, thannnneervaasal veethiyilum, eppiraayeem vaasal veethiyilum thangalukkuk koodaarangalai pottarkal. So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

17 Inthappirakaaramaakach siraiyiruppilirunthu thirumpi vanthavarkalin Sabaiyaar ellaarum koodaarangalaippottu, koodaarangalil kutiyirunthaarkal; ippatiyae noonin kumaaranaakiya yosuvaavin naatkalmuthal annaalmattum Israel puththirar seyyaathirunthu ippoluthu seythapatiyaal, mikuntha santhoshamunndaayirunthathu. And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

18 Muthalaam naal thodangik kataisinaalmattum, thinamthinam thaevanutaiya niyaayappiramaana pusthakam vaasikkappattathu; aelunaal panntikaiyai aasariththaarkal; ettamnaalovenil, muraimaiyinpatiyae viseshiththa aasarippu naalaayirunthathu. Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
