Psalm 82 in Tamil

1 தேவசபையிலே தேவன் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறார்; தேவர்களின் நடுவிலே அவர் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறார். God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2 எதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் அநியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, துன்மார்க்கருக்கு முகதாட்சிணியம் பண்ணுவீர்கள். (சேலா.) How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3 ஏழைக்கும் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைக்கும் நியாயஞ்செய்து, சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கும் திக்கற்றவனுக்கும் நீதி செய்யுங்கள். Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 பலவீனனையும் எளியவனையும் விடுவித்து துன்மார்க்கரின் கைக்கு அவர்களைத் தப்புவியுங்கள். Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 அறியாமலும் உணராமலுமிருக்கிறார்கள், அந்தகாரத்திலே நடக்கிறார்கள்; தேசத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்களெல்லாம் அசைகிறது. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6 நீங்கள் தேவர்கள் என்றும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் உன்னதமானவரின் மக்கள் என்றும் நான் சொல்லியிருந்தேன். I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் மனுஷரைப்போலச் செத்து லோகப்பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவனைப்போல விழுந்துபோவீர்கள். But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 தேவனே எழுந்தருளும், பூமிக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யும்; நீரே சகல ஜாதிகளையும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பவர். Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

1 ThaevaSabaiyilae Dhevan eluntharuliyirukkiraar; thaevarkalin naduvilae avar niyaayam visaarikkiraar. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2 Ethuvaraikkum neengal aniyaayaththeerppuchcheythu, thunmaarkkarukku mukathaatchinniyam pannnuveerkal. (selaa.) How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3 Aelaikkum thikkatta pillaikkum niyaayanjaெythu, siraுmaippattavanukkum thikkattavanukkum neethi seyyungal. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 Palaveenanaiyum eliyavanaiyum viduviththu thunmaarkkarin kaikku avarkalaith thappuviyungal. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 Ariyaamalum unaraamalumirukkiraarkal, anthakaaraththilae nadakkiraarkal; thaesaththin asthipaarangalellaam asaikirathu. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6 Neengal thaevarkal entum, neengalellaarum unnathamaanavarin makkal entum naan solliyirunthaen. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 Aanaalum neengal manusharaippolach seththu lokappirapukkalil oruvanaippola vilunthupoveerkal. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 Thaevanae eluntharulum, poomikku niyaayaththeerppuch seyyum; neerae sakala jaathikalaiyum suthantharamaakak konntiruppavar. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
