Psalm 72 in Tamil

1 தேவனே, ராஜாவுக்கு உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் ராஜாவின் குமாரனுக்கு உம்முடைய நீதியையும் கொடுத்தருளும். Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

2 அவர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களை நீதியோடும், உம்முடைய ஏழைகளை நியாயத்தோடுΠύ விசாரிப்பார். He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

3 பர்வதங்Εள் ஜனத்திற்க`Κ் சமாதானத்தψத் தரும், மேடுகள் நீதியின் விளைவோடிருக்கும். The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

4 ஜனத்தில் சிறுமைப்படுகிறவர்களை அவர் நியாயம் விசாரித்து, ஏழையின் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்து, இடுக்கண் செய்கிறவனை நொறுக்குவார். He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

5 சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் உள்ளமட்டும், அவர்கள் உமக்குத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகப் பயந்திருப்பார்கள். They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6 புல்லறுப்புண்ட வெளியின் மேல் பெய்யும் மழையைப்போலவும், பூமியை நனைக்கும் தூறலைப்போலவும் இறங்குவார். He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7 அவருடைய நாட்களில் நீதிமான் செழிப்பான்; சந்திரனுள்ளவரைக்கும் மிகுந்த சமாதானம் இருக்கும். In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

8 சமுத்திரந்தொடங்கி மறுசமுத்திரம்வரைக்கும், நதிதொடங்கி பூமியின் எல்லைகள்வரைக்கும் அவர் அரசாளுவார். He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

9 வனாந்தரத்தார் அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் குனிந்து வணங்குவார்கள்; அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் மண்ணை நக்குவார்கள். They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 தர்ஷீசின் ராஜாக்களும் தீவுகளின் ராஜாக்களும் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்; ஷேபாவிலும் சேபாவிலுமுள்ள ராஜாக்கள் வெகுமானங்களைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள். The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 சகல ராஜாக்களும் அவரைப்பணிந்து கொள்வார்கள்; சகல ஜாதிகளும் அவரைச் சேவிப்பார்கள். Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

12 கூப்பிடுகிற எளியவனையும், உதவியற்ற சிறுமையானவனையும் அவர் விடுவிப்பார். For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 பலவீனனுக்கும் எளியவனுக்கும் அவர் இரங்கி, எளியவர்களின் ஆத்துமாக்களை இரட்சிப்பார். He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 அவர்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களை வஞ்சகத்திற்கும் கொடுமைக்கும் தப்புவிப்பார்; அவர்களுடைய இரத்தம் அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு அருமையாயிருக்கும். He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 அவர் பிழைத்திருப்பார், ஷேபாவின் பொன் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அவர்நிமித்தம் இடைவிடாமல் ஜெபம்பண்ணப்படும், எந்நாளும் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படுவார். And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

16 பூமியிலே மலைகளின் உச்சிகளில் ஒரு பிடி தானியம் விதைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அதின் விளைவு லீபனோனைப்போல அசையும்; பூமியின் புல்லைப்போல நகரத்தார் செழித்தோங்குவார்கள். There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 அவருடைய நாமம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; சூரியனுள்ளமட்டும் அவருடைய நாமம் சந்தான பரம்பரையாய் நிலைக்கும்; மனுஷர் அவருக்குள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள், எல்லா ஜாதிகளும் அவரைப் பாக்கியமுடையவர் என்று வாழ்த்துவார்கள். His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

18 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; அவரே அதிசயங்களைச் செய்கிறவர். Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 அவருடைய மகிமை பொருந்திய நாமத்துக்கு என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; பூமிமுழுவதும் அவருடைய மகிமையால் நிறைந்திருப்பதாக. ஆமென், ஆமென். And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

20 ஈசாயின் புத்திரனாகிய தாவீதின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் முடிந்தது. The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

1 Thaevanae, raajaavukku ummutaiya niyaayaththeerppukalaiyum raajaavin kumaaranukku ummutaiya neethiyaiyum koduththarulum. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

2 Avar ummutaiya janangalai neethiyodum, ummutaiya aelaikalai niyaayaththoduΠύ visaarippaar. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

3 ParvathangΕl janaththirka`Κ் samaathaanaththaψth tharum, maedukal neethiyin vilaivotirukkum. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

4 Janaththil siraுmaippadukiravarkalai avar niyaayam visaariththu, aelaiyin pillaikalai iratchiththu, idukkann seykiravanai noraுkkuvaar. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

5 Sooriyanum santhiranum ullamattum, avarkal umakkuth thalaimurai thalaimuraiyaakap payanthiruppaarkal. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6 Pullaraுppunnda veliyin mael peyyum malaiyaippolavum, poomiyai nanaikkum thooralaippolavum iranguvaar. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7 Avarutaiya naatkalil neethimaan selippaan; santhiranullavaraikkum mikuntha samaathaanam irukkum. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

8 Samuththiranthodangi maraுsamuththiramvaraikkum, nathithodangi poomiyin ellaikalvaraikkum avar arasaaluvaar. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

9 Vanaantharaththaar avarukku munpaakak kuninthu vananguvaarkal; avarutaiya saththurukkal mannnnai nakkuvaarkal. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 Tharsheesin raajaakkalum theevukalin raajaakkalum kaannikkaikalaik konnduvaruvaarkal; shaepaavilum sepaavilumulla raajaakkal vekumaanangalaik konnduvaruvaarkal. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 Sakala raajaakkalum avaraippanninthu kolvaarkal; sakala jaathikalum avaraich sevippaarkal. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

12 Kooppidukira eliyavanaiyum, uthaviyatta siraுmaiyaanavanaiyum avar viduvippaar. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 Palaveenanukkum eliyavanukkum avar irangi, eliyavarkalin aaththumaakkalai iratchippaar. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 Avarkal aaththumaakkalai vanjakaththirkum kodumaikkum thappuvippaar; avarkalutaiya iraththam avarutaiya paarvaikku arumaiyaayirukkum. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 Avar pilaiththiruppaar, shaepaavin pon avarukkuk kodukkappadum; avarnimiththam itaividaamal Jebampannnappadum, ennaalum sthoththirikkappaduvaar. And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

16 Poomiyilae malaikalin uchchikalil oru piti thaaniyam vithaikkappattirukkum; athin vilaivu leepanonaippola asaiyum; poomiyin pullaippola nakaraththaar seliththonguvaarkal. There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 Avarutaiya naamam ententaikkum irukkum; sooriyanullamattum avarutaiya naamam santhaana paramparaiyaay nilaikkum; manushar avarukkul aaseervathikkappaduvaarkal, ellaa jaathikalum avaraip paakkiyamutaiyavar entu vaalththuvaarkal. His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

18 Isravaelin thaevanaayirukkira karththaraakiya thaevanukku sthoththiramunndaavathaaka; avarae athisayangalaich seykiravar. Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 Avarutaiya makimai porunthiya naamaththukku ententaikkum sthoththiramunndaavathaaka; poomimuluvathum avarutaiya makimaiyaal nirainthiruppathaaka. Amen, Amen. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

20 Eesaayin puththiranaakiya thaaveethin vinnnappangal mutinthathu. The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
