Psalm 59 in Tamil

1 என் தேவனே, என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; என்மேல் எழும்புகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வையும். Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

2 அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவித்து, இரத்தப்பிரியரான மனுஷருக்கு என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும். Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

3 இதோ, என் பிராணனுக்குப் பதிவிருக்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தாவே, என்னிடத்தில் மீறுதலும் பாவமும் இல்லாதிருந்தும், பலவான்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடுகிறார்கள். For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

4 என்னிடத்தில் அக்கிரமம் இல்லாதிருந்தும், ஓடித்திரிந்து யுத்தத்துக்கு ஆயத்தமாகிறார்கள், எனக்குத் துணைசெய்ய விழித்து என்னை நோக்கிப் பாரும். They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

5 சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, நீர் சகல ஜாதிகளையும் விசாரிக்க விழித்தெழும்பும்; வஞ்சகமாய்த் துரோகஞ்செய்கிற ஒருவருக்கும் தயை செய்யாதேயும். (சேலா.) Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

6 அவர்கள் சாயங்காலத்தில் திரும்பிவந்து, நாய்களைப்போல ஊளையிட்டு, ஊரைச்சுற்றித் திரிகிறார்கள். They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

7 இதோ, தங்கள் வார்த்தைகளைக் கக்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உதடுகளில் பட்டயங்கள் இருக்கிறது, கேட்கிறவன் யார் என்கிறார்கள். Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

8 ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து நகைப்பீர்; புறஜாதிகள் யாவரையும் இகழுவீர். But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

9 அவன் வல்லமையை நான் கண்டு உமக்குக் காத்திருப்பேன்; தேவனே எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலம். Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

10 என் தேவன் தம்முடைய கிருபையினால் என்னைச் சந்திப்பார்; தேவன் என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு வரும் நீதிசரிக்கட்டுதலை நான் காணும்படி செய்வார். The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

11 அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடாதேயும், என் ஜனங்கள் மறந்துபோவார்களே; எங்கள் கேடகமாகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமது வல்லமையினால் அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, அவர்களைத் தாழ்த்திப்போடும். Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

12 அவர்கள் உதடுகளின் பேச்சு அவர்கள் வாயின் பாவமாயிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் இட்ட சாபமும் சொல்லிய பொய்யும் ஆகிய இவைகளினிமித்தம் தங்கள் பெருமையில் அகப்படுவார்களாக. For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

13 தேவன் பூமியின் எல்லைவரைக்கும் யாக்கோபிலே அரசாளுகிறவரென்று அவர்கள் அறியும்பொருட்டு, அவர்களை உம்முடைய உக்கிரத்திலே நிர்மூலமாக்கும்; இனி இராதபடிக்கு அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும். (சேலா.) Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

14 அவர்கள் சாயங்காலத்தில் திரும்பிவந்து, நாய்களைப்போல ஊளையிட்டு, ஊரைச்சுற்றித் திரிகிறார்கள். And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

15 அவர்கள் உணவுக்காக அலைந்துதிரிந்து திருப்தியடையாமல், முறுமுறுத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

16 நானோ உம்முடைய வல்லமையைப் பாடி காலையிலே உம்முடைய கிருபையை மகிழ்ச்சியோடு புகழுவேன்; எனக்கு நெருக்கமுண்டான நாளிலே நீர் எனக்குத் தஞ்சமும் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானீர். But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17 என் பெலனே, உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்; தேவன் எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், கிருபையுள்ள என் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார். Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

1 En thaevanae, en saththurukkalukku ennaith thappuviyum; enmael elumpukiravarkalukku ennai vilakki uyarntha ataikkalaththilae vaiyum. Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

2 Akkiramakkaararukku ennaith thappuviththu, iraththappiriyaraana manusharukku ennai vilakki iratchiyum. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

3 Itho, en piraananukkup pathivirukkiraarkal; karththaavae, ennidaththil meeraுthalum paavamum illaathirunthum, palavaankal enakku virothamaayk koottangaூdukiraarkal. For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

4 Ennidaththil akkiramam illaathirunthum, otiththirinthu yuththaththukku aayaththamaakiraarkal, enakkuth thunnaiseyya viliththu ennai Nnokkip paarum. They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

5 Senaikalin thaevanaakiya karththaavae, isravaelin thaevanae, neer sakala jaathikalaiyum visaarikka viliththelumpum; vanjakamaayth thurokanjaெykira oruvarukkum thayai seyyaathaeyum. (selaa.) Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

6 Avarkal saayangaalaththil thirumpivanthu, naaykalaippola oolaiyittu, ooraichchuttith thirikiraarkal. They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

7 Itho, thangal vaarththaikalaik kakkukiraarkal; avarkal uthadukalil pattayangal irukkirathu, kaetkiravan yaar enkiraarkal. Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

8 Aanaalum karththaavae, neer avarkalaip paarththu nakaippeer; purajaathikal yaavaraiyum ikaluveer. But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

9 Avan vallamaiyai naan kanndu umakkuk kaaththiruppaen; thaevanae enakku uyarntha ataikkalam. Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

10 En Dhevan thammutaiya kirupaiyinaal ennaich santhippaar; Dhevan en saththurukkalukku varum neethisarikkattuthalai naan kaanumpati seyvaar. The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

11 Avarkalaik kontupodaathaeyum, en janangal maranthupovaarkalae; engal kaedakamaakiya aanndavarae, umathu vallamaiyinaal avarkalaich sitharatiththu, avarkalaith thaalththippodum. Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

12 Avarkal uthadukalin paechchu avarkal vaayin paavamaayirukkirathu; avarkal itta saapamum solliya poyyum aakiya ivaikalinimiththam thangal perumaiyil akappaduvaarkalaaka. 13 Dhevan poomiyin ellaivaraikkum yaakkopilae arasaalukiravarentu avarkal ariyumporuttu, avarkalai ummutaiya ukkiraththilae nirmoolamaakkum; ini iraathapatikku avarkalai nirmoolamaakkum. (selaa.) Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

15 Avarkal unavukkaaka alainthuthirinthu thirupthiyataiyaamal, muraுmuraுththukkonntiruppaarkal. Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

16 Naano ummutaiya vallamaiyaip paati kaalaiyilae ummutaiya kirupaiyai makilchchiyodu pukaluvaen; enakku nerukkamunndaana naalilae neer enakkuth thanjamum uyarntha ataikkalamumaaneer. But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17 En pelanae, ummaik geerththanampannnuvaen; Dhevan enakku uyarntha ataikkalamum, kirupaiyulla en thaevanumaayirukkiraar. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
