Matthew 18 in Tamil

1 அவ்வேளையிலே சீஷர்கள் இயேசுவினிடத்தில் வந்து: பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் எவன் பெரியவனாயிருப்பான் என்று கேட்டார்கள். At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 இயேசு ஒரு சிறு பிள்ளையைத் தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்து: அதை அவர்கள் நடுவே நிறுத்தி: And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பிப் பிள்ளைகளைப்போல் ஆகாவிட்டால், பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டீர்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 ஆகையால் இந்தப்பிள்ளையைப்போலத் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்துகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனே பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் பெரியவனாயிருப்பான். Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு பிள்ளையை என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான். And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிற இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனுக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்குகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனுடைய கழுத்தில் ஏந்திரக்கல்லைக் கட்டி, சமுத்திரத்தின் ஆழத்திலே அவனை அமிழ்த்துவது அவனுக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 இடறல்களினிமித்தம் உலகத்துக்கு ஐயோ, இடறல்கள் வருவது அவசியம். ஆனாலும் எந்த மனுஷனால் இடறல் வருகிறதோ, அவனுக்கு ஐயோ! Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 உன் கையாவது உன் காலாவது உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைத் தறித்து எறிந்துபோடு; நீ இரண்டு கையுடையவனாய், அல்லது இரண்டு காலுடையவனாய் நித்திய அக்கினியிலே தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், சப்பாணியாய், அல்லது ஊனனாய், நித்திய ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 உன் கண் உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைப் பிடுங்கி எறிந்துபோடு; இரண்டு கண்ணுள்ளவனாய், எரிநரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், ஒற்றைக்கண்ணனாய் ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனையும் அற்பமாய் எண்ணாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அவர்களுக்குரிய தேவதூதர்கள் பரலோகத்திலே என் பரமபிதாவின் சமுகத்தை எப்பொழுதும் தரிசிக்கிறார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 மனுஷகுமாரன் கெட்டுப்போனதை இரட்சிக்க வந்தார். For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 உங்களுக்கு எப்படித் தோன்றுகிறது? ஒரு மனுஷனுக்கு நூறு ஆடுகளிருக்க, அவைகளில் ஒன்று சிதறிப்போனால், அவன் மற்றத் தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளையும் மலைகளில் விட்டுப்போய்ச் சிதறிப்போனதைத் தேடாமலிருப்பானோ? How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 அவன் அதைக்கண்டுபிடித்தால், சிதறிப்போகாத தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறதைப் பார்க்கிலும், அதைக்குறித்து அதிகமாய்ச் சந்தோஷப்படுவான் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 இவ்விதமாக, இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனாகிலும் கெட்டுப்போவது பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதாவின் சித்தமல்ல. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 உன் சகோதரன் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் குற்றஞ்செய்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நீ போய், நீயும் அவனும் தனித்திருக்கையில், அவன் குற்றத்தை அவனுக்கு உணர்த்து அவன் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தால், உன் சகோதரனை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாய். Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 அவன் செவிகொடாமற்போனால், இரண்டு மூன்று சாட்சிகளுடைய வாக்கினாலே சங்கதிகளெல்லாம் நிலைவரப்படும்படி, இரண்டொருவரை உன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டு போ. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 அவர்களுக்கும் அவன் செவிகொடாமற்போனால், அதைச் சபைக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்து; சபைக்கும் செவிகொடாதிருப்பானானால், அவன் உனக்கு அஞ்ஞானியைப்போலவும் ஆயக்காரனைப்போலவும் இருப்பானாக. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

18 பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டுவீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும்; பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டவிழ்ப்பீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டவிழ்க்கப்படும் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 அல்லாமலும், உங்களில் இரண்டுபேர் தாங்கள் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளப்போகிற எந்தக் காரியத்தைக்குறித்தாகிலும் பூமியிலே ஒருமனப்பட்டிருந்தால், பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவினால் அது அவர்களுக்கு உண்டாகும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 ஏனெனில், இரண்டு பேராவது மூன்று பேராவது என் நாமத்தினாலே எங்கே கூடியிருக்கிறார்களோ, அங்கே அவர்கள் நடுவிலே இருக்கிறேன் என்றார். For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21 அப்பொழுது, பேதுரு அவரிடத்தில் வந்து, ஆண்டவரே என் சகோதரன் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்து வந்தால், நான் எத்தனைதரம் மன்னிக்கவேண்டும்? ஏழுதரமட்டுமோ என்று கேட்டான். Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 அதற்கு இயேசு: ஏழுதரமாத்திரம் அல்ல ஏழெழுபதுதரமட்டும் என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 எப்படியெனில், பரலோகராஜ்யம் தன் ஊழியக்காரரிடத்தில் கணக்குப்பார்க்க வேண்டுமென்றிருந்த ஒரு ராஜாவுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 அவன் கணக்குப்பார்க்கத் தொடங்கினபோது, பதினாயிரம் தாலந்து கடன் பட்டவன் ஒருவனை அவனுக்கு முன்பாக கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 கடனைத்தீர்க்க அவனுக்கு நிர்வாகம் இல்லாதபடியால், அவனுடைய ஆண்டவன் அவனையும் அவன் பெண்ஜாதி பிள்ளைகளையும், அவனுக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் விட்டு, கடனைத் தீர்க்கும்படிக் கட்டளையிட்டான். But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 அப்பொழுது அந்த ஊழியக்காரன் தாழ விழுந்து, வணங்கி: ஆண்டவனே! என்னிடத்தில் பொறுமையாயிரும், எல்லாவற்றையும் உமக்குக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்கிறேன் என்றான். The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 அந்த ஊழியக்காரனுடைய ஆண்டவன் மனதிரங்கி, அவனை விடுதலைப்பண்ணி, கடனையும் அவனுக்கு மன்னித்துவிட்டான். Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 அப்படியிருக்க, அந்த ஊழியக்காரன் புறப்பட்டுப்போகையில், தன்னிடத்தில் நூறு வெள்ளிப்பணம் கடன்பட்டிருந்தவனாகிய தன் உடன் வேலைக்காரரில் ஒருவனைக்கண்டு, அவனைப்பிடித்து, தொண்டையை நெரித்து: நீ பட்ட கடனை எனக்கு கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்கவேண்டும் என்றான். But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய உடன் வேலைக்காரன் காலிலே விழுந்து: என்னிடத்தில் பொறுமையாயிரும், எல்லாவற்றையும் உமக்குக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்கிறேன் என்று, அவனை வேண்டிக்கொண்டான். And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 அவனோ சம்மதியாமல், போய், அவன் பட்ட கடனைக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்குமளவும் அவனைக் காவலில் போடுவித்தான். And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 நடந்ததை அவன் உடன்வேலைக்காரர் கண்டு, மிகவும் துக்கப்பட்டு, ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் வந்து, நடந்ததையெல்லாம் அறிவித்தார்கள். So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 அப்பொழுது, அவனுடைய ஆண்டவன் அவனை அழைப்பித்து: பொல்லாத ஊழியக்காரனே, நீ என்னை வேண்டிக்கொண்டபடியினால், அந்தக் கடன் முழுவதையும் உனக்கு மன்னித்துவிட்டேன். Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 நான் உனக்கு இரங்கினதுபோல, நீயும் உன் உடன் வேலைக்காரனுக்கு இரங்கவேண்டாமோ என்று சொல்லி, Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 அவனுடைய ஆண்டவன் கோபமடைந்து, அவன் பட்ட கடனையெல்லாம் தனக்குக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்குமளவும் உபாதிக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் அவனை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான். And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 நீங்களும் அவனவன் தன் சகோதரன் செய்த தப்பிதங்களை மனப்பூர்வமாய் மன்னியாமற்போனால், என் பரமபிதாவும் உங்களுக்கு இப்படியே செய்வார் என்றார். So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

1 Avvaelaiyilae seesharkal Yesuvinidaththil vanthu: paralokaraajyaththil evan periyavanaayiruppaan entu kaettarkal. At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 Yesu oru siraு pillaiyaith thammidaththil alaiththu: athai avarkal naduvae niraுththi: And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 Neengal mananthirumpip pillaikalaippol aakaavittal, paralokaraajyaththil piravaesikkamaattirkal entu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Aakaiyaal inthappillaiyaippolath thannaith thaalththukiravan evano, avanae paralokaraajyaththil periyavanaayiruppaan. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 Ippatippatta oru pillaiyai en naamaththinimiththam aettaுkkollukiravan ennai aettaுkkollukiraan. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 Ennidaththil visuvaasamaayirukkira inthach siriyaril oruvanukku idaralunndaakkukiravan evano, avanutaiya kaluththil aenthirakkallaik katti, samuththiraththin aalaththilae avanai amilththuvathu avanukku nalamaayirukkum. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Idaralkalinimiththam ulakaththukku aiyo, idaralkal varuvathu avasiyam. Aanaalum entha manushanaal idaral varukiratho, avanukku aiyo! Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Un kaiyaavathu un kaalaavathu unakku idaralunndaakkinaal, athaith thariththu erinthupodu; nee iranndu kaiyutaiyavanaay, allathu iranndu kaalutaiyavanaay niththiya akkiniyilae thallappaduvathaippaarkkilum, sappaanniyaay, allathu oonanaay, niththiya jeevanukkul piravaesippathu unakku nalamaayirukkum. Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 Un kann unakku idaralunndaakkinaal, athaip pidungi erinthupodu; iranndu kannnullavanaay, erinarakaththil thallappaduvathaippaarkkilum, ottaைkkannnanaay jeevanukkul piravaesippathu unakku nalamaayirukkum. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 Inthach siriyaril oruvanaiyum arpamaay ennnnaathapatikku echcharikkaiyaayirungal; avarkalukkuriya thaevathootharkal paralokaththilae en paramapithaavin samukaththai eppoluthum tharisikkiraarkal entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 Manushakumaaran kettupponathai iratchikka vanthaar. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 Ungalukku eppatith thontukirathu? Oru manushanukku nooraு aadukalirukka, avaikalil ontu sitharipponaal, avan mattath thonnnnoottaொnpathu aadukalaiyum malaikalil vittuppoych sitharipponathaith thaedaamaliruppaano? How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 Avan athaikkanndupitiththaal, sitharippokaatha thonnnnoottaொnpathu aadukalaikkuriththuch santhoshappadukirathaip paarkkilum, athaikkuriththu athikamaaych santhoshappaduvaan entu, meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Ivvithamaaka, inthach siriyaril oruvanaakilum kettuppovathu paralokaththilirukkira ungal pithaavin siththamalla. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 Un sakotharan unakku virothamaakak kuttanjaெythaal, avanidaththil nee poy, neeyum avanum thaniththirukkaiyil, avan kuttaththai avanukku unarththu avan unakkuch sevikoduththaal, un sakotharanai aathaayappaduththikkonndaay. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 Avan sevikodaamarponaal, iranndu moontu saatchikalutaiya vaakkinaalae sangathikalellaam nilaivarappadumpati, iranntoruvarai unnudanae koottikkonndu po. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 Avarkalukkum avan sevikodaamarponaal, athaich Sabaikkuth theriyappaduththu; Sabaikkum sevikodaathiruppaanaanaal, avan unakku anjnjaaniyaippolavum aayakkaaranaippolavum iruppaanaaka. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

18 Poolokaththilae neengal evaikalaik kattuveerkalo avaikal paralokaththilum kattappattirukkum; poolokaththilae neengal evaikalaik kattavilppeerkalo avaikal paralokaththilum kattavilkkappadum entu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Allaamalum, ungalil iranndupaer thaangal vaenntikkollappokira enthak kaariyaththaikkuriththaakilum poomiyilae orumanappattirunthaal, paralokaththilirukkira en pithaavinaal athu avarkalukku unndaakum entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 Aenenil, iranndu paeraavathu moontu paeraavathu en naamaththinaalae engae kootiyirukkiraarkalo, angae avarkal naduvilae irukkiraேn entar. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21 Appoluthu, paethuru avaridaththil vanthu, aanndavarae en sakotharan enakku virothamaayk kuttanjaெythu vanthaal, naan eththanaitharam mannikkavaenndum? Aelutharamattumo entu kaettan. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Atharku Yesu: aelutharamaaththiram alla aelelupathutharamattum entu unakkuch sollukiraேn. Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 Eppatiyenil, paralokaraajyam than ooliyakkaararidaththil kanakkuppaarkka vaenndumentiruntha oru raajaavukku oppaayirukkirathu. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 Avan kanakkuppaarkkath thodanginapothu, pathinaayiram thaalanthu kadan pattavan oruvanai avanukku munpaaka konnduvanthaarkal. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 Kadanaiththeerkka avanukku nirvaakam illaathapatiyaal, avanutaiya aanndavan avanaiyum avan pennjaathi pillaikalaiyum, avanukku unndaana ellaavattaைyum vittu, kadanaith theerkkumpatik kattalaiyittan. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 Appoluthu antha ooliyakkaaran thaala vilunthu, vanangi: aanndavanae! Ennidaththil poraுmaiyaayirum, ellaavattaைyum umakkuk koduththuth theerkkiraேn entan. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Antha ooliyakkaaranutaiya aanndavan manathirangi, avanai viduthalaippannnni, kadanaiyum avanukku manniththuvittan. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 Appatiyirukka, antha ooliyakkaaran purappattuppokaiyil, thannidaththil nooraு vellippanam kadanpattirunthavanaakiya than udan vaelaikkaararil oruvanaikkanndu, avanaippitiththu, thonntaiyai neriththu: nee patta kadanai enakku koduththuth theerkkavaenndum entan. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 Appoluthu avanutaiya udan vaelaikkaaran kaalilae vilunthu: ennidaththil poraுmaiyaayirum, ellaavattaைyum umakkuk koduththuth theerkkiraேn entu, avanai vaenntikkonndaan. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 Avano sammathiyaamal, poy, avan patta kadanaik koduththuth theerkkumalavum avanaik kaavalil poduviththaan. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 Nadanthathai avan udanvaelaikkaarar kanndu, mikavum thukkappattu, aanndavanidaththil vanthu, nadanthathaiyellaam ariviththaarkal. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Appoluthu, avanutaiya aanndavan avanai alaippiththu: pollaatha ooliyakkaaranae, nee ennai vaenntikkonndapatiyinaal, anthak kadan muluvathaiyum unakku manniththuvittaேn. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Naan unakku iranginathupola, neeyum un udan vaelaikkaaranukku irangavaenndaamo entu solli, Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 Avanutaiya aanndavan kopamatainthu, avan patta kadanaiyellaam thanakkuk koduththuth theerkkumalavum upaathikkiravarkalidaththil avanai oppukkoduththaan. And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
