2நீங்கள் எந்தமட்டும் என் ஆத்துமாவை வருத்தப்படுத்தி, வார்த்தைகளினால் என்னை நொறுக்குவீர்கள்?How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3இப்போது பத்துதரம் என்னை நிந்தித்தீர்கள்; நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கடினமுகம் காண்பிக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு வெட்கமில்லை.These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
4நான் தப்பிநடந்தது மெய்யானாலும், என் தப்பிதம் என்னோடேதான் இருக்கிறது.And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
5நீங்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாகப் பெருமைபாராட்டி, எனக்கு நிந்தையாக என்னைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றிருப்பீர்களாகில்,If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:
6தேவன் என்னைக் கவிழ்த்து தம்முடைய வலையை என்மேல் வீசினார் என்று அறியுங்கள்.Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
7இதோ, கொடுமை என்று கூப்பிடுகிறேன், கேட்பார் ஒருவரும் இல்லை; கூக்குரலிடுகிறேன், நியாய விசாரணை இல்லை.Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
8நான் கடந்துபோகக் கூடாதபடிக்கு அவர் என் பாதையை வேலியடைத்து என் வழிகளை இருளாக்கிவிட்டார்.He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
9என்னிலிருந்த என் மகிமையை அவர் உரிந்துகொண்டு, என் சிரசின் கிரீடத்தை எடுத்துப்போட்டார்.He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
10அவர் என்னை நான்குபுறத்திலும் நாசமாக்கினார், நான் அற்றுப்போகிறேன்; என் நம்பிக்கையை ஒரு செடியைப்போலப் பிடுங்கிப்போட்டார்.He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
11அவர் தமது கோபத்தை என்மேல் எரியப்பண்ணினார், என்னைத் தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களில் ஒருவனாக எண்ணிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்.He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.

13என் சகோதரரை என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரப்படுத்தினார்; எனக்கு அறிமுகமானவர்கள் எனக்கு அந்நியராய்ப்போனார்கள்.He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14என் பந்துஜனங்கள் விலகிப்போனார்கள்; என் சிநேகிதர் என்னை மறந்துவிட்டார்கள்.My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15என் வீட்டு ஜனங்களும், என் வேலைக்காரிகளும், என்னை அந்நியராய் எண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் பார்வைக்கு நான் பரதேசியானேன்.They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16நான் என் வேலைக்காரனைக் கூப்பிடுகிறபோது அவன் எனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடான்; என் வாயினால் நான் அவனைக் கெஞ்சவேண்டியதாயிற்று.I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.

21என் சிநேகிதரே, எனக்கு இரங்குங்கள், எனக்கு இரங்குங்கள்; தேவனுடைய கை என்னைத் தொட்டது.Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
22தேவனைப்போல நீங்களும் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துவானேன்? என் மாம்சம் பட்சிக்கப்பட்டாலும் நீங்கள் திருப்தியற்றிருக்கிறதென்ன?Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
23ஆ, நான் இப்பொழுது சொல்லும் வார்த்தைகள் எழுதப்பட்டால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அவைகள் ஒரு புஸ்தகத்தில் வரையப்பட்டு,Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24அல்லது என்றைக்கும் நிலைக்க அவைகள் கருங்கல்லிலே உளிவெட்டாகவும் சுய எழுத்தாகவும் பதிந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
25என் மீட்பர் உயிரோடிருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவர் கடைசிநாளில் பூமியின்மேல் நிற்பார் என்றும் நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26இந்த என் தோல் முதலானவை அழுகிப்போனபின்பு, நான் என் மாம்சத்தில் இருந்து தேவனைப் பார்ப்பேன்.And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27அவரை நானே பார்ப்பேன்; அந்நிய கண்கள் அல்ல, என் கண்களே அவரைக் காணும்; இந்த வாஞ்சையால் உள்ளிந்திரியங்கள் எனக்குள் சோர்ந்து போகிறது.Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
28காரியத்தின் மூலம் எனக்குள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்படுகையில், நாம் ஏன் அவனைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறோம் என்று நீங்கள் சொல்லவேண்டியதாமே.But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
29பட்டயத்துக்குப் பயப்படுங்கள்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு உண்டென்கிறதை நீங்கள் அறியும்பொருட்டு, மூர்க்கமானது பட்டயத்தினால் உண்டாகும் ஆக்கினையை வரப்பண்ணும் என்றான்.Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
1Yopu pirathiyuththaramaaka:Then Job answered and said,
2Neengal enthamattum en aaththumaavai varuththappaduththi, vaarththaikalinaal ennai noraுkkuveerkal?How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3Ippothu paththutharam ennai ninthiththeerkal; neengal enakkuk katinamukam kaannpikkirathinaal ungalukku vetkamillai.These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
4Naan thappinadanthathu meyyaanaalum, en thappitham ennotaethaan irukkirathu.And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
5Neengal enakku virothamaakap perumaipaaraatti, enakku ninthaiyaaka ennaik katinthukollavaenndum entiruppeerkalaakil,If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:

11Avar thamathu kopaththai enmael eriyappannnninaar, ennaith thammutaiya saththurukkalil oruvanaaka ennnnikkollukiraar.He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.
12Avarutaiya thannduppataikal aekamaay vanthu, enakku virothamaayth thangal valiyai uyarththi, en koodaaraththaich suttip paalayamiranginaarkal.His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
13En sakothararai ennaivittuth thoorappaduththinaar; enakku arimukamaanavarkal enakku anniyaraaypponaarkal.He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14En panthujanangal vilakipponaarkal; en sinaekithar ennai maranthuvittarkal.My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15En veettu janangalum, en vaelaikkaarikalum, ennai anniyaraay ennnukiraarkal; avarkal paarvaikku naan parathaesiyaanaen.They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16Naan en vaelaikkaaranaik kooppidukirapothu avan enakku uththaravu kodaan; en vaayinaal naan avanaik kenjavaenntiyathaayittaு.I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.

19En piraana sinaekithar ellaarum ennai veraுkkiraarkal; naan sinaekiththavarkal enakku virothikalaanaarkal.All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
20En elumpukal en tholodum en maamsaththodum ottikkonntirukkirathu, en parkalai moodak konjam tholmaaththiram thappinathu.My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
21En sinaekitharae, enakku irangungal, enakku irangungal; thaevanutaiya kai ennaith thottathu.Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
22Thaevanaippola neengalum ennaith thunpappaduththuvaanaen? En maamsam patchikkappattalum neengal thirupthiyattirukkirathenna?Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?

26Intha en thol muthalaanavai alukipponapinpu, naan en maamsaththil irunthu thaevanaip paarppaen.And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27Avarai naanae paarppaen; anniya kannkal alla, en kannkalae avaraik kaanum; intha vaanjaiyaal ullinthiriyangal enakkul sornthu pokirathu.Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
28Kaariyaththin moolam enakkul kanndupitikkappadukaiyil, naam aen avanaith thunpappaduththukirom entu neengal sollavaenntiyathaamae.But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
29Pattayaththukkup payappadungal; niyaayaththeerppu unndenkirathai neengal ariyumporuttu, moorkkamaanathu pattayaththinaal unndaakum aakkinaiyai varappannnum entan.Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
