וַיְהִ֛י the vai-HEE דְּבַר word deh-VAHR יְהוָ֥ה of yeh-VA צְבָא֖וֹת the tseh-va-OTE לֵאמֹֽר׃ Lord lay-MORE -
כֹּ֤ה saith koh אָמַר֙ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE קִנֵּ֥אתִי hosts; kee-NAY-tee לְצִיּ֖וֹן I leh-TSEE-yone קִנְאָ֣ה was keen-AH גְדוֹלָ֑ה jealous ɡeh-doh-LA וְחֵמָ֥ה for veh-hay-MA גְדוֹלָ֖ה Zion ɡeh-doh-LA קִנֵּ֥אתִי with kee-NAY-tee לָֽהּ׃ great la -
כֹּ֚ה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֔ה Lord; yeh-VA שַׁ֚בְתִּי I SHAHV-tee אֶל am el צִיּ֔וֹן returned TSEE-yone וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י unto veh-sha-hahn-TEE בְּת֣וֹךְ Zion, beh-TOKE יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם and yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְנִקְרְאָ֤ה will veh-neek-reh-AH יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ dwell yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM עִ֣יר in eer הָֽאֱמֶ֔ת the ha-ay-MET וְהַר midst veh-HAHR יְהוָ֥ה of yeh-VA צְבָא֖וֹת Jerusalem: tseh-va-OTE הַ֥ר and hahr הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ Jerusalem ha-KOH-desh -
כֹּ֤ה saith koh אָמַר֙ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE עֹ֤ד hosts; ode יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ There yay-sheh-VOO זְקֵנִ֣ים shall zeh-kay-NEEM וּזְקֵנ֔וֹת yet oo-zeh-kay-NOTE בִּרְחֹב֖וֹת old beer-hoh-VOTE יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם men yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְאִ֧ישׁ and veh-EESH מִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹ old meesh-an-TOH בְּיָד֖וֹ women beh-ya-DOH מֵרֹ֥ב dwell may-ROVE יָמִֽים׃ in ya-MEEM -
וּרְחֹב֤וֹת the oo-reh-hoh-VOTE הָעִיר֙ streets ha-EER יִמָּ֣לְא֔וּ of yee-MA-leh-OO יְלָדִ֖ים the yeh-la-DEEM וִֽילָד֑וֹת city vee-la-DOTE מְשַׂחֲקִ֖ים shall meh-sa-huh-KEEM בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ be beer-HOH-voh-TAY-ha -
כֹּ֤ה saith koh אָמַר֙ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE כִּ֣י hosts; kee יִפָּלֵ֗א If yee-pa-LAY בְּעֵינֵי֙ it beh-ay-NAY שְׁאֵרִית֙ be sheh-ay-REET הָעָ֣ם marvellous ha-AM הַזֶּ֔ה in ha-ZEH בַּיָּמִ֖ים the ba-ya-MEEM הָהֵ֑ם eyes ha-HAME גַּם of ɡahm בְּעֵינַי֙ the beh-ay-NA יִפָּלֵ֔א remnant yee-pa-LAY נְאֻ֖ם of neh-OOM יְהוָ֥ה this yeh-VA צְבָאֽוֹת׃ people tseh-va-OTE -
כֹּ֤ה saith koh אָמַר֙ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE הִנְנִ֥י hosts; heen-NEE מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ Behold, moh-SHEE-ah אֶת I et עַמִּ֖י will ah-MEE מֵאֶ֣רֶץ save may-EH-rets מִזְרָ֑ח meez-RAHK וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ my oo-may-EH-rets מְב֥וֹא people meh-VOH הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ from ha-SHA-mesh -
וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י I veh-hay-vay-TEE אֹתָ֔ם will oh-TAHM וְשָׁכְנ֖וּ bring veh-shoke-NOO בְּת֣וֹךְ them, beh-TOKE יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם and yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְהָיוּ they veh-ha-YOO לִ֣י shall lee לְעָ֗ם dwell leh-AM וַֽאֲנִי֙ in va-uh-NEE אֶהְיֶ֤ה the eh-YEH לָהֶם֙ midst la-HEM לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים of lay-loh-HEEM בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת Jerusalem: beh-ay-MET וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃ and oo-veets-da-KA -
כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַר֮ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֒ of tseh-va-OTE תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה hosts; teh-hay-ZAHK-na יְדֵיכֶ֔ם Let yeh-day-HEM הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙ your ha-shoh-meh-EEM בַּיָּמִ֣ים hands ba-ya-MEEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה be ha-A-leh אֵ֖ת strong, ate הַדְּבָרִ֣ים ye ha-deh-va-REEM הָאֵ֑לֶּה that ha-A-leh מִפִּי֙ hear mee-PEE הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים in ha-neh-vee-EEM אֲ֠שֶׁר these UH-sher בְּי֞וֹם days beh-YOME יֻסַּ֨ד yoo-SAHD בֵּית these bate יְהוָ֧ה words yeh-VA צְבָא֛וֹת by tseh-va-OTE הַהֵיכָ֖ל the ha-hay-HAHL לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ mouth leh-hee-ba-NOTE -
כִּ֗י before kee לִפְנֵי֙ these leef-NAY הַיָּמִ֣ים days ha-ya-MEEM הָהֵ֔ם there ha-HAME שְׂכַ֤ר was seh-HAHR הָֽאָדָם֙ no ha-ah-DAHM לֹ֣א hire loh נִֽהְיָ֔ה for nee-heh-YA וּשְׂכַ֥ר man, oo-seh-HAHR הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה nor ha-beh-hay-MA אֵינֶ֑נָּה any ay-NEH-na וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א hire veh-la-yoh-TSAY וְלַבָּ֤א for veh-la-BA אֵין beast; ane שָׁלוֹם֙ neither sha-LOME מִן was meen הַצָּ֔ר there ha-TSAHR וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח any va-uh-sha-LAHK אֶת peace et כָּל to kahl הָאָדָ֖ם him ha-ah-DAHM אִ֥ישׁ that eesh בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ went beh-ray-ay-HOO -
וְעַתָּ֗ה now veh-ah-TA לֹ֣א I loh כַיָּמִ֤ים will ha-ya-MEEM הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙ not ha-ree-shoh-NEEM אֲנִ֔י be uh-NEE לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית unto leesh-ay-REET הָעָ֣ם the ha-AM הַזֶּ֑ה residue ha-ZEH נְאֻ֖ם of neh-OOM יְהוָ֥ה this yeh-VA צְבָאֽוֹת׃ people tseh-va-OTE -
כִּֽי the kee זֶ֣רַע seed ZEH-ra הַשָּׁל֗וֹם shall ha-sha-LOME הַגֶּ֜פֶן be ha-ɡEH-fen תִּתֵּ֤ן prosperous; tee-TANE פִּרְיָהּ֙ the peer-YA וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ vine veh-ha-AH-RETS תִּתֵּ֣ן shall tee-TANE אֶת give et יְבוּלָ֔הּ her yeh-voo-LA וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם fruit, veh-ha-sha-MA-yeem יִתְּנ֣וּ and yee-teh-NOO טַלָּ֑ם the ta-LAHM וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י ground veh-heen-hahl-TEE אֶת shall et שְׁאֵרִ֛ית give sheh-ay-REET הָעָ֥ם ha-AM הַזֶּ֖ה her ha-ZEH אֶת increase, et כָּל and kahl אֵֽלֶּה׃ the A-leh -
וְהָיָ֡ה it veh-ha-YA כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ shall ka-uh-SHER הֱיִיתֶ֨ם come hay-yee-TEM קְלָלָ֜ה to keh-la-LA בַּגּוֹיִ֗ם pass, ba-ɡoh-YEEM בֵּ֤ית that bate יְהוּדָה֙ as yeh-hoo-DA וּבֵ֣ית ye oo-VATE יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל were yees-ra-ALE כֵּ֚ן a kane אוֹשִׁ֣יעַ curse oh-SHEE-ah אֶתְכֶ֔ם among et-HEM וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם the vee-yee-TEM בְּרָכָ֑ה heathen, beh-ra-HA אַל O al תִּירָ֖אוּ house tee-RA-oo תֶּחֱזַ֥קְנָה of teh-hay-ZAHK-na יְדֵיכֶֽם׃ Judah, yeh-day-HEM -
כִּ֣י thus kee כֹ֣ה saith hoh אָמַר֮ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֒ of tseh-va-OTE כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר hosts; ka-uh-SHER זָמַמְ֜תִּי As za-mahm-tee לְהָרַ֣ע I leh-ha-RA לָכֶ֗ם thought la-HEM בְּהַקְצִ֤יף to beh-hahk-TSEEF אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ punish uh-voh-tay-HEM אֹתִ֔י you, oh-TEE אָמַ֖ר when ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה your yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת fathers tseh-va-OTE וְלֹ֖א provoked veh-LOH נִחָֽמְתִּי׃ me nee-HA-meh-tee -
כֵּ֣ן again kane שַׁ֤בְתִּי have SHAHV-tee זָמַ֙מְתִּי֙ I za-MAHM-TEE בַּיָּמִ֣ים thought ba-ya-MEEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה in ha-A-leh לְהֵיטִ֥יב these leh-hay-TEEV אֶת days et יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם to yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְאֶת do veh-ET בֵּ֣ית well bate יְהוּדָ֑ה unto yeh-hoo-DA אַל al תִּירָֽאוּ׃ Jerusalem tee-ra-OO -
אֵ֥לֶּה are A-leh הַדְּבָרִ֖ים the ha-deh-va-REEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר things uh-SHER תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ that ta-uh-SOO דַּבְּר֤וּ ye da-beh-ROO אֱמֶת֙ shall ay-MET אִ֣ישׁ do; eesh אֶת Speak et רֵעֵ֔הוּ ye ray-A-hoo אֱמֶת֙ every ay-MET וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט man oo-meesh-PAHT שָׁל֔וֹם the sha-LOME שִׁפְט֖וּ truth sheef-TOO בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃ to beh-sha-uh-ray-HEM -
וְאִ֣ישׁ׀ let veh-EESH אֶת none et רָעַ֣ת ra-AT רֵעֵ֗הוּ of ray-A-hoo אַֽל you al תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙ imagine tahk-sheh-VOO בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם beel-vahv-HEM וּשְׁבֻ֥עַת evil oo-sheh-VOO-at שֶׁ֖קֶר in SHEH-ker אַֽל your al תֶּאֱהָ֑בוּ hearts teh-ay-HA-voo כִּ֧י against kee אֶת his et כָּל neighbour; kahl אֵ֛לֶּה and A-leh אֲשֶׁ֥ר love uh-SHER שָׂנֵ֖אתִי no sa-NAY-tee נְאֻם false neh-OOM יְהוָֽה׃ oath: yeh-VA -
וַיְהִ֛י the vai-HEE דְּבַר word deh-VAHR יְהוָ֥ה of yeh-VA צְבָא֖וֹת the tseh-va-OTE אֵלַ֥י Lord ay-LAI לֵאמֹֽר׃ of lay-MORE -
כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַ֞ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֗וֹת of tseh-va-OTE צ֣וֹם hosts; tsome הָרְבִיעִ֡י The hore-vee-EE וְצ֣וֹם fast veh-TSOME הַחֲמִישִׁי֩ of ha-huh-mee-SHEE וְצ֨וֹם the veh-TSOME הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י fourth ha-sheh-vee-EE וְצ֣וֹם month, veh-TSOME הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י and ha-uh-see-REE יִהְיֶ֤ה the yee-YEH לְבֵית fast leh-VATE יְהוּדָה֙ of yeh-hoo-DA לְשָׂשׂ֣וֹן the leh-sa-SONE וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה fifth, oo-leh-seem-HA וּֽלְמֹעֲדִ֖ים and oo-leh-moh-uh-DEEM טוֹבִ֑ים the toh-VEEM וְהָאֱמֶ֥ת fast veh-ha-ay-MET וְהַשָּׁל֖וֹם of veh-ha-sha-LOME אֱהָֽבוּ׃ the ay-ha-VOO -
כֹּ֥ה saith koh אָמַ֖ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת of tseh-va-OTE עֹ֚ד hosts; ode אֲשֶׁ֣ר It uh-SHER יָבֹ֣אוּ shall ya-VOH-oo עַמִּ֔ים yet ah-MEEM וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י come veh-yoh-sheh-VAY עָרִ֥ים to ah-REEM רַבּֽוֹת׃ pass, ra-bote -
וְֽהָלְכ֡וּ the veh-hole-HOO יֽוֹשְׁבֵי֩ inhabitants yoh-sheh-VAY אַחַ֨ת of ah-HAHT אֶל one el אַחַ֜ת city ah-HAHT לֵאמֹ֗ר shall lay-MORE נֵלְכָ֤ה go nay-leh-HA הָלוֹךְ֙ to ha-loke לְחַלּוֹת֙ another, leh-ha-LOTE אֶת saying, et פְּנֵ֣י Let peh-NAY יְהוָ֔ה us yeh-VA וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ go oo-leh-va-KAYSH אֶת speedily et יְהוָ֣ה to yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת pray tseh-va-OTE אֵלְכָ֖ה ay-leh-HA גַּם before ɡahm אָֽנִי׃ the AH-nee -
וּבָ֨אוּ many oo-VA-oo עַמִּ֤ים people ah-MEEM רַבִּים֙ and ra-BEEM וְגוֹיִ֣ם strong veh-ɡoh-YEEM עֲצוּמִ֔ים nations uh-tsoo-MEEM לְבַקֵּ֛שׁ shall leh-va-KAYSH אֶת come et יְהוָ֥ה to yeh-VA צְבָא֖וֹת seek tseh-va-OTE בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם bee-roo-sha-la-EEM וּלְחַלּ֖וֹת the oo-leh-HA-lote אֶת Lord et פְּנֵ֥י of peh-NAY יְהוָֽה׃ hosts yeh-VA -
כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַר֮ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֒ of tseh-va-OTE בַּיָּמִ֣ים hosts; ba-ya-MEEM הָהֵ֔מָּה In ha-HAY-ma אֲשֶׁ֤ר those uh-SHER יַחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙ days ya-huh-ZEE-KOO עֲשָׂרָ֣ה it uh-sa-RA אֲנָשִׁ֔ים shall uh-na-SHEEM מִכֹּ֖ל come mee-KOLE לְשֹׁנ֣וֹת to leh-shoh-NOTE הַגּוֹיִ֑ם pass, ha-ɡoh-YEEM וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ that veh-heh-hay-ZEE-koo בִּכְנַף֩ ten beek-NAHF אִ֨ישׁ men eesh יְהוּדִ֜י shall yeh-hoo-DEE לֵאמֹ֗ר take lay-MORE נֵֽלְכָה֙ hold nay-leh-HA עִמָּכֶ֔ם out ee-ma-HEM כִּ֥י of kee שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ all sha-MA-noo אֱלֹהִ֥ים languages ay-loh-HEEM עִמָּכֶֽם׃ of ee-ma-HEM
