וַיַּ֣עַן the va-YA-an מַלְאַךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָה֮ of yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַר֒ the va-yoh-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת answered tseh-va-OTE עַד and ad מָתַ֗י said, ma-TAI אַתָּה֙ O ah-TA לֹֽא Lord loh תְרַחֵ֣ם of teh-ra-HAME אֶת hosts, et יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם how yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְאֵ֖ת long veh-ATE עָרֵ֣י ah-RAY יְהוּדָ֑ה wilt yeh-hoo-DA אֲשֶׁ֣ר thou uh-SHER זָעַ֔מְתָּה not za-AM-ta זֶ֖ה have zeh שִׁבְעִ֥ים mercy sheev-EEM שָׁנָֽה׃ on sha-NA
