Jeremiah 46:16
അവൻ പലരെയും ഇടറി വീഴുമാറാക്കി; ഒരുത്തൻ മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ മീതെ വീണു; എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വാളിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു നാം സ്വജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ജന്മദേശത്തേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോക എന്നു അവർ പറയും.

വേഗവാൻ ഓടിപ്പോകയില്ല; വീരൻ ചാടിപ്പോകയുമില്ല; വടക്കു ഫ്രാത്ത് നദീതീരത്തു അവർ ഇടറിവീഴും.

അതിന്റെ കൂലിച്ചേവകർ അതിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ തടിപ്പിച്ച കാളക്കിടാക്കളെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നു; അവരും പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു ഒരുപോലെ ഓടിപ്പോയി; അവരുടെ അപായദിവസവും സന്ദർശനകാലവും വന്നിരിക്കയാൽ അവർക്കു നില്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

വിതെക്കുന്നവനെയും കൊയ്ത്തുകാലത്തു അരിവാൾ പിടിക്കുന്നവനെയും ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളവിൻ; നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വാൾ പേടിച്ചു ഓരോരുത്തൻ സ്വജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകയും സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.
