וַיִּפֹּ֥ל Joseph va-yee-POLE יוֹסֵ֖ף fell yoh-SAFE עַל upon al פְּנֵ֣י his peh-NAY אָבִ֑יו father's ah-VEEOO וַיֵּ֥בְךְּ face, va-YAY-vek עָלָ֖יו and ah-LAV וַיִּשַּׁק wept va-yee-SHAHK לֽוֹ׃ upon loh -
וַיְצַ֨ו Joseph vai-TSAHV יוֹסֵ֤ף commanded yoh-SAFE אֶת et עֲבָדָיו֙ his uh-va-dav אֶת servants et הָרֹ֣פְאִ֔ים ha-ROH-feh-EEM לַֽחֲנֹ֖ט the la-huh-NOTE אֶת physicians et אָבִ֑יו to ah-VEEOO וַיַּֽחַנְט֥וּ embalm va-ya-hahn-TOO הָרֹֽפְאִ֖ים ha-roh-feh-EEM אֶת his et יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ father: yees-ra-ALE -
וַיִּמְלְאוּ forty va-yeem-leh-OO לוֹ֙ days loh אַרְבָּעִ֣ים were ar-ba-EEM י֔וֹם fulfilled yome כִּ֛י for kee כֵּ֥ן him; kane יִמְלְא֖וּ for yeem-leh-OO יְמֵ֣י so yeh-MAY הַֽחֲנֻטִ֑ים are ha-huh-noo-TEEM וַיִּבְכּ֥וּ fulfilled va-yeev-KOO אֹת֛וֹ the oh-TOH מִצְרַ֖יִם days meets-RA-yeem שִׁבְעִ֥ים of sheev-EEM יֽוֹם׃ those yome -
וַיַּֽעַבְרוּ֙ when va-ya-av-ROO יְמֵ֣י the yeh-MAY בְכִית֔וֹ days veh-hee-TOH וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר of vai-da-BARE יוֹסֵ֔ף his yoh-SAFE אֶל mourning el בֵּ֥ית were bate פַּרְעֹ֖ה past, pahr-OH לֵאמֹ֑ר Joseph lay-MORE אִם spake eem נָ֨א unto na מָצָ֤אתִי the ma-TSA-tee חֵן֙ house hane בְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם of beh-A-nay-HEM דַּבְּרוּ Pharaoh, da-beh-ROO נָ֕א saying, na בְּאָזְנֵ֥י If beh-oze-NAY פַרְעֹ֖ה now fahr-OH לֵאמֹֽר׃ I lay-MORE -
אָבִ֞י father ah-VEE הִשְׁבִּיעַ֣נִי made heesh-bee-AH-nee לֵאמֹ֗ר me lay-MORE הִנֵּ֣ה swear, hee-NAY אָֽנֹכִי֮ saying, ah-noh-HEE מֵת֒ Lo, mate בְּקִבְרִ֗י I beh-keev-REE אֲשֶׁ֨ר die: uh-SHER כָּרִ֤יתִי in ka-REE-tee לִי֙ my lee בְּאֶ֣רֶץ grave beh-EH-rets כְּנַ֔עַן which keh-NA-an שָׁ֖מָּה I SHA-ma תִּקְבְּרֵ֑נִי have teek-beh-RAY-nee וְעַתָּ֗ה digged veh-ah-TA אֶֽעֱלֶה for EH-ay-leh נָּ֛א me na וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה in veh-ek-beh-RA אֶת the et אָבִ֖י land ah-VEE וְאָשֽׁוּבָה׃ of veh-ah-SHOO-va -
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר Pharaoh va-YOH-mer פַּרְעֹ֑ה said, pahr-OH עֲלֵ֛ה Go uh-LAY וּקְבֹ֥ר up, oo-keh-VORE אֶת and et אָבִ֖יךָ bury ah-VEE-ha כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר ka-uh-SHER הִשְׁבִּיעֶֽךָ׃ thy heesh-bee-EH-ha -
וַיַּ֥עַל Joseph va-YA-al יוֹסֵ֖ף went yoh-SAFE לִקְבֹּ֣ר up leek-BORE אֶת to et אָבִ֑יו bury ah-VEEOO וַיַּֽעֲל֨וּ va-ya-uh-LOO אִתּ֜וֹ his EE-toh כָּל father: kahl עַבְדֵ֤י and av-DAY פַרְעֹה֙ with fahr-OH זִקְנֵ֣י him zeek-NAY בֵית֔וֹ went vay-TOH וְכֹ֖ל up veh-HOLE זִקְנֵ֥י all zeek-NAY אֶֽרֶץ the EH-rets מִצְרָֽיִם׃ servants meets-RA-yeem -
וְכֹל֙ all veh-HOLE בֵּ֣ית the bate יוֹסֵ֔ף house yoh-SAFE וְאֶחָ֖יו of veh-eh-HAV וּבֵ֣ית Joseph, oo-VATE אָבִ֑יו and ah-VEEOO רַ֗ק his rahk טַפָּם֙ brethren, ta-PAHM וְצֹאנָ֣ם and veh-tsoh-NAHM וּבְקָרָ֔ם his oo-veh-ka-RAHM עָֽזְב֖וּ father's ah-zeh-VOO בְּאֶ֥רֶץ house: beh-EH-rets גֹּֽשֶׁן׃ only ɡOH-shen -
וַיַּ֣עַל there va-YA-al עִמּ֔וֹ went EE-moh גַּם up ɡahm רֶ֖כֶב with REH-hev גַּם him ɡahm פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים both pa-ra-SHEEM וַיְהִ֥י chariots vai-HEE הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה and ha-ma-huh-NEH כָּבֵ֥ד horsemen: ka-VADE מְאֹֽד׃ and meh-ODE -
וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ they va-ya-VOH-oo עַד came ad גֹּ֣רֶן to ɡOH-ren הָֽאָטָ֗ד the ha-ah-TAHD אֲשֶׁר֙ threshingfloor uh-SHER בְּעֵ֣בֶר of beh-A-ver הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן Atad, ha-yahr-DANE וַיִּ֨סְפְּדוּ which va-YEES-peh-doo שָׁ֔ם is shahm מִסְפֵּ֛ד beyond mees-PADE גָּד֥וֹל Jordan, ɡa-DOLE וְכָבֵ֖ד and veh-ha-VADE מְאֹ֑ד there meh-ODE וַיַּ֧עַשׂ they va-YA-as לְאָבִ֛יו mourned leh-ah-VEEOO אֵ֖בֶל with A-vel שִׁבְעַ֥ת a sheev-AT יָמִֽים׃ great ya-MEEM -
וַיַּ֡רְא when va-YAHR יוֹשֵׁב֩ the yoh-SHAVE הָאָ֨רֶץ inhabitants ha-AH-rets הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י of ha-keh-na-uh-NEE אֶת the et הָאֵ֗בֶל land, ha-A-vel בְּגֹ֙רֶן֙ the beh-ɡOH-REN הָֽאָטָ֔ד Canaanites, ha-ah-TAHD וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ saw va-YOH-meh-ROO אֵֽבֶל A-vel כָּבֵ֥ד the ka-VADE זֶ֖ה mourning zeh לְמִצְרָ֑יִם in leh-meets-RA-yeem עַל the al כֵּ֞ן floor kane קָרָ֤א of ka-RA שְׁמָהּ֙ Atad, sheh-MA אָבֵ֣ל they ah-VALE מִצְרַ֔יִם said, meets-RA-yeem אֲשֶׁ֖ר This uh-SHER בְּעֵ֥בֶר is beh-A-ver הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ a ha-yahr-DANE -
וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ his va-ya-uh-SOO בָנָ֖יו sons va-NAV ל֑וֹ did loh כֵּ֖ן unto kane כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר him ka-uh-SHER צִוָּֽם׃ according tsee-WAHM -
וַיִּשְׂא֨וּ his va-yees-OO אֹת֤וֹ sons oh-TOH בָנָיו֙ carried va-nav אַ֣רְצָה him AR-tsa כְּנַ֔עַן into keh-NA-an וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ the va-yeek-beh-ROO אֹת֔וֹ land oh-TOH בִּמְעָרַ֖ת of beem-ah-RAHT שְׂדֵ֣ה Canaan, seh-DAY הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֑ה and ha-mahk-pay-LA אֲשֶׁ֣ר buried uh-SHER קָנָה֩ him ka-NA אַבְרָהָ֨ם in av-ra-HAHM אֶת the et הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה cave ha-sa-DEH לַֽאֲחֻזַּת of LA-uh-hoo-zaht קֶ֗בֶר the KEH-ver מֵאֵ֛ת field may-ATE עֶפְרֹ֥ן of ef-RONE הַֽחִתִּ֖י Machpelah, ha-hee-TEE עַל which al פְּנֵ֥י Abraham peh-NAY מַמְרֵֽא׃ bought mahm-RAY -
וַיָּ֨שָׁב Joseph va-YA-shove יוֹסֵ֤ף returned yoh-SAFE מִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙ into meets-RA-MA ה֣וּא Egypt, hoo וְאֶחָ֔יו he, veh-eh-HAV וְכָל and veh-HAHL הָֽעֹלִ֥ים his ha-oh-LEEM אִתּ֖וֹ brethren, EE-toh לִקְבֹּ֣ר and leek-BORE אֶת all et אָבִ֑יו that ah-VEEOO אַֽחֲרֵ֖י went ah-huh-RAY קָבְר֥וֹ up kove-ROH אֶת with et אָבִֽיו׃ him ah-VEEV -
וַיִּרְא֤וּ when va-yeer-OO אֲחֵֽי Joseph's uh-HAY יוֹסֵף֙ brethren yoh-SAFE כִּי saw kee מֵ֣ת that mate אֲבִיהֶ֔ם their uh-vee-HEM וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ father va-YOH-meh-ROO ל֥וּ was loo יִשְׂטְמֵ֖נוּ dead, yees-teh-MAY-noo יוֹסֵ֑ף they yoh-SAFE וְהָשֵׁ֤ב said, veh-ha-SHAVE יָשִׁיב֙ Joseph ya-SHEEV לָ֔נוּ will LA-noo אֵ֚ת peradventure ate כָּל hate kahl הָ֣רָעָ֔ה us, HA-ra-AH אֲשֶׁ֥ר and uh-SHER גָּמַ֖לְנוּ will ɡa-MAHL-noo אֹתֽוֹ׃ certainly oh-TOH -
וַיְצַוּ֕וּ they vai-TSA-woo אֶל sent el יוֹסֵ֖ף a yoh-SAFE לֵאמֹ֑ר messenger lay-MORE אָבִ֣יךָ unto ah-VEE-ha צִוָּ֔ה Joseph, tsee-WA לִפְנֵ֥י saying, leef-NAY מוֹת֖וֹ Thy moh-TOH לֵאמֹֽר׃ father lay-MORE -
כֹּֽה shall koh תֹאמְר֣וּ ye toh-meh-ROO לְיוֹסֵ֗ף say leh-yoh-SAFE אָ֣נָּ֡א unto AH-NA שָׂ֣א Joseph, sa נָ֠א Forgive, na פֶּ֣שַׁע I PEH-sha אַחֶ֤יךָ pray ah-HAY-ha וְחַטָּאתָם֙ thee veh-ha-ta-TAHM כִּֽי now, kee רָעָ֣ה the ra-AH גְמָל֔וּךָ trespass ɡeh-ma-LOO-ha וְעַתָּה֙ of veh-ah-TA שָׂ֣א thy sa נָ֔א brethren, na לְפֶ֥שַׁע and leh-FEH-sha עַבְדֵ֖י their av-DAY אֱלֹהֵ֣י sin; ay-loh-HAY אָבִ֑יךָ for ah-VEE-ha וַיֵּ֥בְךְּ they va-YAY-vek יוֹסֵ֖ף did yoh-SAFE בְּדַבְּרָ֥ם unto beh-da-beh-RAHM אֵלָֽיו׃ thee ay-LAIV -
וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ his va-yay-leh-HOO גַּם brethren ɡahm אֶחָ֔יו also eh-HAV וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ went va-yee-peh-LOO לְפָנָ֑יו and leh-fa-NAV וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ fell va-YOH-meh-ROO הִנֶּ֥נּֽוּ down hee-NEH-noo לְךָ֖ before leh-HA לַֽעֲבָדִֽים׃ his LA-uh-va-DEEM -
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר Joseph va-YOH-mer אֲלֵהֶ֛ם said uh-lay-HEM יוֹסֵ֖ף unto yoh-SAFE אַל them, al תִּירָ֑אוּ Fear tee-RA-oo כִּ֛י not: kee הֲתַ֥חַת for huh-TA-haht אֱלֹהִ֖ים am ay-loh-HEEM אָֽנִי׃ I AH-nee -
וְאַתֶּ֕ם as veh-ah-TEM חֲשַׁבְתֶּ֥ם for huh-shahv-TEM עָלַ֖י you, ah-LAI רָעָ֑ה ye ra-AH אֱלֹהִים֙ thought ay-loh-HEEM חֲשָׁבָ֣הּ evil huh-sha-VA לְטֹבָ֔ה against leh-toh-VA לְמַ֗עַן me; leh-MA-an עֲשֹׂ֛ה but uh-SOH כַּיּ֥וֹם God KA-yome הַזֶּ֖ה meant ha-ZEH לְהַֽחֲיֹ֥ת it leh-ha-huh-YOTE עַם unto am רָֽב׃ good, rahv -
וְעַתָּה֙ therefore veh-ah-TA אַל fear al תִּירָ֔אוּ ye tee-RA-oo אָֽנֹכִ֛י not: ah-noh-HEE אֲכַלְכֵּ֥ל I uh-hahl-KALE אֶתְכֶ֖ם will et-HEM וְאֶֽת nourish veh-ET טַפְּכֶ֑ם you, ta-peh-HEM וַיְנַחֵ֣ם and vai-na-HAME אוֹתָ֔ם your oh-TAHM וַיְדַבֵּ֖ר little vai-da-BARE עַל ones. al לִבָּֽם׃ And lee-BAHM -
וַיֵּ֤שֶׁב Joseph va-YAY-shev יוֹסֵף֙ dwelt yoh-SAFE בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם in beh-meets-RA-yeem ה֖וּא Egypt, hoo וּבֵ֣ית he, oo-VATE אָבִ֑יו and ah-VEEOO וַיְחִ֣י his vai-HEE יוֹסֵ֔ף father's yoh-SAFE מֵאָ֥ה house: may-AH וָעֶ֖שֶׂר and va-EH-ser שָׁנִֽים׃ Joseph sha-NEEM -
וַיַּ֤רְא Joseph va-YAHR יוֹסֵף֙ saw yoh-SAFE לְאֶפְרַ֔יִם Ephraim's leh-ef-RA-yeem בְּנֵ֖י children beh-NAY שִׁלֵּשִׁ֑ים of shee-lay-SHEEM גַּ֗ם the ɡahm בְּנֵ֤י third beh-NAY מָכִיר֙ generation: ma-HEER בֶּן the ben מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה children meh-na-SHEH יֻלְּד֖וּ also yoo-leh-DOO עַל of al בִּרְכֵּ֥י Machir beer-KAY יוֹסֵֽף׃ the yoh-SAFE -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Joseph va-YOH-mer יוֹסֵף֙ said yoh-SAFE אֶל unto el אֶחָ֔יו his eh-HAV אָֽנֹכִ֖י brethren, ah-noh-HEE מֵ֑ת I mate וֵֽאלֹהִ֞ים die: vay-loh-HEEM פָּקֹ֧ד and pa-KODE יִפְקֹ֣ד God yeef-KODE אֶתְכֶ֗ם will et-HEM וְהֶֽעֱלָ֤ה surely veh-heh-ay-LA אֶתְכֶם֙ visit et-HEM מִן you, meen הָאָ֣רֶץ and ha-AH-rets הַזֹּ֔את bring ha-ZOTE אֶל you el הָאָ֕רֶץ out ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁ֥ר of uh-SHER נִשְׁבַּ֛ע this neesh-BA לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם land leh-av-ra-HAHM לְיִצְחָ֖ק unto leh-yeets-HAHK וּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃ the OO-leh-ya-uh-KOVE -
וַיַּשְׁבַּ֣ע Joseph va-yahsh-BA יוֹסֵ֔ף took yoh-SAFE אֶת an et בְּנֵ֥י oath beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of yees-ra-ALE לֵאמֹ֑ר lay-MORE פָּקֹ֨ד the pa-KODE יִפְקֹ֤ד children yeef-KODE אֱלֹהִים֙ of ay-loh-HEEM אֶתְכֶ֔ם Israel, et-HEM וְהַֽעֲלִתֶ֥ם saying, veh-ha-uh-lee-TEM אֶת God et עַצְמֹתַ֖י will ats-moh-TAI מִזֶּֽה׃ surely mee-ZEH -
וַיָּ֣מָת Joseph va-YA-mote יוֹסֵ֔ף died, yoh-SAFE בֶּן being ben מֵאָ֥ה an may-AH וָעֶ֖שֶׂר hundred va-EH-ser שָׁנִ֑ים and sha-NEEM וַיַּֽחַנְט֣וּ ten va-ya-hahn-TOO אֹת֔וֹ years oh-TOH וַיִּ֥ישֶׂם old: va-YEE-sem בָּֽאָר֖וֹן and ba-ah-RONE בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃ they beh-meets-RA-yeem
