യാക്കോബോ സുക്കോത്തിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു; തനിക്കു ഒരു വീടു പണിതു; കന്നുകാലിക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്നു തൊഴുത്തുകളും കെട്ടി; അതു കൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു സുക്കോത്ത് എന്നു പേർ പറയുന്നു.
