യെഹോരാം തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ രാജത്വം ഏറ്റു തന്നേത്താൽ ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയശേഷം തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും യിസ്രായേൽപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ പലരെയും വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നു.
