പിന്നെ ശമൂവേൽ ഒരു കല്ലു എടുത്തു മിസ്പെക്കും ശേനിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ നാട്ടി: ഇത്രത്തോളം യഹോവ നമ്മെ സഹായിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അതിന്നു ഏബെൻ-ഏസെർ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
