യഹോവ പിന്നെയും: ശമൂവേലേ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. ശമൂവേൽ എഴന്നേറ്റു ഏലിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: അടിയൻ ഇതാ; എന്നെ വിളിച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചില്ല, മകനേ; പോയി കിടന്നുകൊൾക എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
