1 Chronicles 15:1
അവൻ തനിക്കു ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ അരമനകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്നായി ഒരു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്നു ഒരു കൂടാരവും അടിച്ചു.

ഉടനെ ദാവീദ് അരമനയിൽ താമാരിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു: നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അമ്നോന്റെ വീട്ടിൽചെന്നു അവന്നു ഭക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊടുക്ക എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

എന്നാൽ രാജാവു: അവൻ തന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകട്ടെ; എന്റെ മുഖം അവൻ കാണരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അബ്ശാലോം തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോയി; രാജാവിന്റെ മുഖം കണ്ടതുമില്ല.

അവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കൃപലഭിച്ചു, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഒരു വാസസ്ഥലം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ അനുവാദം അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
