Revelation 2
1 എഫെസൊസിലെ സഭയുടെ ദൂതന്നു എഴുതുക: ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം വലങ്കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പൊൻനിലവിളക്കുകളുടെ നടുവിൽ നടക്കുന്നവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു:
2 ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും പ്രയത്നവും സഹിഷ്ണതയും കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരെ നിനക്കു സഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്തതും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരല്ലാതിരിക്കെ തങ്ങൾ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ എന്നു പറയുന്നവരെ നീ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു കള്ളന്മാർ എന്നു കണ്ടതും,
3 നിനക്കു സഹിഷ്ണതയുള്ളതും എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം നീ സഹിച്ചതും തളന്നുപോകാഞ്ഞതും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
4 എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ആദ്യസ്നേഹം വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഒരു കുറ്റം നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറവാനുണ്ടു.
5 നീ ഏതിൽനിന്നു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഓർത്തു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ വരികയും നീ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിന്റെ നിലവിളക്കു അതിന്റെ നിലയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
6 എങ്കിലും നിക്കൊലാവ്യരുടെ നടപ്പു നീ പകെക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു നന്മ നിനക്കുണ്ടു.
7 അതു ഞാനും പകെക്കുന്നു. ആത്മാവു സഭകളോടു പറയുന്നതു എന്തെന്നു ചെവിയുള്ളവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരദീസയിൽ ഉള്ള ജീവവൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ഫലം തിന്മാൻ കൊടുക്കും.
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 നീ ഏതിൽനിന്നു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഓർത്തു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ വരികയും നീ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിന്റെ നിലവിളക്കു അതിന്റെ നിലയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 എങ്കിലും നിക്കൊലാവ്യരുടെ നടപ്പു നീ പകെക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു നന്മ നിനക്കുണ്ടു.
