4 ധനവാനാകേണ്ടതിന്നു പണിപ്പെടരുതു; അതിന്നായുള്ള ബുദ്ധി വിട്ടുകളക.
5 നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി ധനത്തിന്മേൽ പതിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? അതു ഇല്ലാതെയായ്പോകുമല്ലോ. കഴുകൻ ആകാശത്തേക്കു എന്നപോലെ അതു ചിറകെടുത്തു പറന്നുകളയും.
4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
