അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്നു. യേശു അവരോടു: “ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ഒന്നു ചോദിക്കട്ടെ: ശബ്ബത്തിൽ നന്മ ചെയ്കയോ തിന്മ ചെയ്കയോ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയോ നശിപ്പിക്കയോ ഏതു വിഹിതം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
