പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ബാലാക്ക് ബിലെയാമിനെ ബാമോത്ത്-ബാലിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അവിടെനിന്നു അവൻ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഒരു അറ്റം കണ്ടു.

	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Balaam,	בִּלְעָ֔ם	bilʿām	beel-AM
and brought him up	וַֽיַּעֲלֵ֖הוּ	ʿālâ	ah-LA
into the high places	בָּמ֣וֹת	bāmâ	ba-MA
of Baal,	בָּ֑עַל	bāmôt	ba-MOTE
he might see	וַיַּ֥רְא	rāʾâ	ra-AH
that thence	מִשָּׁ֖ם	šām	shahm
the utmost	קְצֵ֥ה	qāṣe	ka-TSEH
of the people.	הָעָֽם׃	ʿam	am
