וַיֹּ֨אמֶר Moses va-YOH-mer מֹשֶׁ֜ה said moh-SHEH אֶל unto el יְהוָ֗ה the yeh-VA לָמָ֤ה Lord, la-MA הֲרֵעֹ֙תָ֙ Wherefore huh-ray-OH-TA לְעַבְדֶּ֔ךָ hast leh-av-DEH-ha וְלָ֛מָּה thou veh-LA-ma לֹֽא afflicted loh מָצָ֥תִי thy ma-TSA-tee חֵ֖ן servant? hane בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ and beh-ay-NAY-ha לָשׂ֗וּם wherefore la-SOOM אֶת have et מַשָּׂ֛א I ma-SA כָּל not kahl הָעָ֥ם found ha-AM הַזֶּ֖ה favour ha-ZEH עָלָֽי׃ in ah-LAI
