Nehemiah 8:2
ഏഴാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി എസ്രാ പുരോഹിതൻ പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളും കേട്ടു ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരുമായ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു,

| the congregation | הַקָּהָל֙ | haqqāhāl | ha-ka-HAHL |
| both of men | מֵאִ֣ישׁ | mēʾîš | may-EESH |
| women, and | וְעַד | wĕʿad | veh-AD |
| and all | אִשָּׁ֔ה | ʾiššâ | ee-SHA |
| that could hear | וְכֹ֖ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| with understanding, | מֵבִ֣ין | mēbîn | may-VEEN |
| first the upon | לִשְׁמֹ֑עַ | lišmōaʿ | leesh-MOH-ah |
| day | בְּי֥וֹם | bĕyôm | beh-YOME |
| of the seventh | אֶחָ֖ד | ʾeḥād | eh-HAHD |
| month. | לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ | laḥōdeš | la-HOH-desh |
