וַיֵּאָֽסְפ֤וּ all va-yay-ah-seh-FOO כָל the hahl הָעָם֙ people ha-AM כְּאִ֣ישׁ gathered keh-EESH אֶחָ֔ד themselves eh-HAHD אֶל together el הָ֣רְח֔וֹב as HA-reh-HOVE אֲשֶׁ֖ר one uh-SHER לִפְנֵ֣י man leef-NAY שַֽׁעַר into SHA-ar הַמָּ֑יִם the ha-MA-yeem וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ street va-yoh-meh-ROO לְעֶזְרָ֣א that leh-ez-RA הַסֹּפֵ֔ר was ha-soh-FARE לְהָבִ֗יא before leh-ha-VEE אֶת the et סֵ֙פֶר֙ water SAY-FER תּוֹרַ֣ת gate; toh-RAHT מֹשֶׁ֔ה and moh-SHEH אֲשֶׁר they uh-SHER צִוָּ֥ה spake tsee-WA יְהוָ֖ה unto yeh-VA אֶת Ezra et יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ the yees-ra-ALE
