Acts 22 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 Brethren and fathers, hear my defence which I now make to you.സഹോദരന്മാരും പിതാക്കന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, എനിക്കു ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള പ്രതിവാദം കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ.

2 And hearing that he addressed them in the Hebrew tongue, they kept the more quiet; and he says,എന്നാൽ എബ്രായഭാഷയിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവർ അധികം മൌനമായി നിന്നു. അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

3 *I* am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, at the feet of Gamaliel, educated according to [the] exactness of the law of [our] fathers, being zealous for God, as *ye* are all this day;ഞാൻ കിലിക്യയിലെ തർസൊസിൽ ജനിച്ച യെഹൂദനും ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ വളർന്നു ഗമാലിയേലിന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ ഇരുന്നു പിതാക്കനാരുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം സൂക്ഷ്മതയോടെ അഭ്യസിച്ചവനുമാകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ഇന്നു ഇരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവസേവയിൽ എരിവുള്ളവനായിരുന്നു.

4 who have persecuted this way unto death, binding and delivering up to prisons both men and women;ഞാൻ പുരുഷന്മാരെയും സ്ത്രീകളെയും പിടിച്ചു കെട്ടി തടവിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചും ഈ മാർഗ്ഗക്കാരെ കൊല്ലുവാനും മടിക്കാതെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചുംവന്നു.

5 as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the elderhood: from whom also, having received letters to the brethren, I went to Damascus to bring those also who were there, bound, to Jerusalem, to be punished.അതിന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതനും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ സംഘം ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കു സാക്ഷികൾ; അവരോടു സഹോദരന്മാർക്കായി എഴുത്തു വാങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടു ദമസ്കൊസിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവരെയും പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടി ദണ്ഡനത്തിന്നായി യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവിടേക്കു യാത്രയായി.

6 And it came to pass, as I was journeying and drawing near to Damascus, that, about mid-day, there suddenly shone out of heaven a great light round about me.അങ്ങനെ പ്രയാണം ചെയ്തു ദമസ്കൊസിനോടു അടുത്തപ്പോൾ ഏകദേശം ഉച്ചെക്കു പെട്ടെന്നു ആകശത്തുനിന്നു വലിയോരു വെളിച്ചം എന്റെ ചുറ്റും മിന്നി.

7 And I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?ഞാൻ നിലത്തു വീണു: ശൌലേ, ശൌലെ, നീ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു എന്നോടു പറയുന്ന ഒരു ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു.

8 And *I* answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said to me, *I* am Jesus the Nazaraean, whom *thou* persecutest.കർത്താവേ, നീ ആർ എന്നു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: നീ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന നസറായനായ യേശു ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ എന്നു അവൻ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

9 But they that were with me beheld the light, [and were filled with fear], but heard not the voice of him that was speaking to me.എന്നോടു കൂടെയുള്ളവർ വെളിച്ചം കണ്ടു എങ്കിലും എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടില്ല.

10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Rise up, and go to Damascus, and there it shall be told thee of all things which it is appointed thee to do.കർത്താവേ ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുതിന്നു കർത്താവു എന്നോടു; എഴുന്നേറ്റു ദമസ്കൊസിലേക്കു പോക; നീ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം അവിടെ നിന്നോടു പറയും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

11 And as I could not see, through the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came to Damascus.ആ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സു ഹേതുവായിട്ടു കണ്ണു കാണായ്കയാൽ കൂടെയുള്ളവർ എന്നെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു നടത്തി; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ദമസ്കൊസിൽ എത്തി.

12 And a certain Ananias, a pious man according to the law, borne witness to by all the Jews who dwelt [there],അവിടെ പാർക്കുന്ന സകല യെഹൂദന്മാരാലും നല്ല സാക്ഷ്യം കൊണ്ടവനായി ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം ഭക്തിയുള്ള പുരുഷനായ അനന്യാസ് എന്നൊരുത്തൻ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുനിന്നു;

13 coming to me and standing by me, said to me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And *I*, in the same hour, received my sight and saw him.സഹോദരനായ ശൌലെ, കാഴ്ചപ്രാപിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ആ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ ഞാൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു അവനെ കണ്ടു.

14 And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen thee beforehand to know his will, and to see the just one, and to hear a voice out of his mouth;അപ്പോൾ അവൻ എന്നോടു: നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവം നിന്നെ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം അറിവാനും നീതിമാനായവനെ കാണ്മാനും അവന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നും വചനം കേൾപ്പാനും നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 for thou shalt be a witness for him to all men of what thou hast seen and heard.നീ കാണ്കയും കേൾക്കയും ചെയ്തതിന്നു സകലമനുഷ്യർക്കും നീ അവന്റെ സാക്ഷിയായിത്തീരും.

16 And now why lingerest thou? Arise and get baptised, and have thy sins washed away, calling on his name.ഇനി താമസിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവന്റെ നാം വിളിച്ചു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ കഴുകിക്കളക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

17 And it came to pass when I had returned to Jerusalem, and as I was praying in the temple, that I became in ecstasy,പിന്നെ ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നേരം ഒരു വിവശതയിൽ ആയി അവനെ കണ്ടു:

18 and saw him saying to me, Make haste and go quickly out of Jerusalem, for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.നീ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വേഗം യെരൂശലേം വിട്ടുപോക; നീ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്ന സാക്ഷ്യം അവർ കൈക്കൊൾകയില്ല എന്നു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു

19 And *I* said, Lord, they themselves know that *I* was imprisoning and beating in every synagogue those that believe on thee;അതിന്നു ഞാൻ: കർത്താവേ, നിന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ തടവിൽ ആക്കുകയും പള്ളിതോറും അടിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നും

20 and when the blood of thy witness Stephen was shed, I also myself was standing by and consenting, and kept the clothes of them who killed him.നിന്റെ സാക്ഷിയായ സ്തെഫാനൊസിന്റെ രക്തം ചൊരിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഞാനും സമ്മതിച്ചു അരികെ നിന്നു അവനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവരുടെ വസ്ത്രം കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു എന്നും അവർ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 And he said to me, Go, for *I* will send thee to the nations afar off.അവൻ എന്നോടു: നീ പോക; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ദൂരത്തു ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അയക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

22 And they heard him until this word, and lifted up their voice, saying, Away with such a one as that from the earth, for it was not fit he should live.ഈ വാക്കോളം അവർ അവന്നു ചെവികൊടുത്തു; പിന്നെ: ഇങ്ങനെത്തവനെ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളക; അവൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു യോഗ്യമല്ല എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 And as they were crying, and throwing away their clothes, and casting dust into the air,അവർ കൂക്കലിട്ടും വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളഞ്ഞും പൂഴി വാരി മേലോട്ടു എറിഞ്ഞും കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ

24 the chiliarch commanded him to be brought into the fortress, saying that he should be examined by scourging, that he might ascertain for what cause they cried thus against him.അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ നേരെ ആർക്കുവാൻ സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ കോട്ടയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

25 But as they stretched him forward with the thongs, Paul said to the centurion who stood [by], Is it lawful for you to scourge a man [who is] a Roman and uncondemned?തന്നെ വാറു കൊണ്ടു കെട്ടുമ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്ന ശതാധിപനോടു: റോമപൌരനും വിസ്താരം കഴിയാത്തവനുമായ മനുഷ്യനെ ചമ്മട്ടി കൊണ്ടു അടിക്കുന്നതു വിഹിതമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

26 And the centurion, having heard it, went and reported it to the chiliarch, saying, What art thou going to do? for this man is a Roman.ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ശതാധിപൻ ചെന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു: നീ എന്തു ചെയ്‍വാൻ പോകുന്നു? ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ റോമപൌരൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

27 And the chiliarch coming up said to him, Tell me, Art *thou* a Roman? And he said, Yes.സഹസ്രാധിപൻ വന്നു: നീ റോമപൌരൻ തന്നേയോ? എന്നോടു പറക എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:

28 And the chiliarch answered, *I*, for a great sum, bought this citizenship. And Paul said, But *I* was also [free] born.അതെ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ ഏറിയ മുതൽ കൊടുത്തു ഈ പൌരത്വം സമ്പാദിച്ചു എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു: ഞാനോ അങ്ങനെ ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പൌലൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

29 Immediately therefore those who were going to examine him left him, and the chiliarch also was afraid when he ascertained that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.ഭേദ്യം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഭാവിച്ചവർ ഉടനെ അവനെ വിട്ടുമാറി; സഹസ്രാധിപനും അവൻ റോമപൌരൻ എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവനെ ബന്ധിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.

30 And on the morrow, desirous to know the certainty [of the matter] why he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him, and commanded the chief priests and all the council to meet, and having brought Paul down set him before them.പിറ്റെന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ പൌലൊസിന്മേൽ ചുമത്തുന്ന കുറ്റത്തിന്റെ സൂക്ഷ്മം അറിവാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ന്യായാധിപസംഘം ഒക്കെയും കൂടി വരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു അവനെ കെട്ടഴിച്ചു താഴെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിറുത്തി.
