നാവുകൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ എന്റെ വഴികളെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നും ദുഷ്ടൻ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ വായ് കടിഞ്ഞാണിട്ടു കാക്കുമെന്നും ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

I said, אָמַ֗רְתִּי ʾāmar ah-MAHR
I will take heed אֶֽשְׁמְרָ֣ה šāmar sha-MAHR
to my ways, דְרָכַי֮ derek deh-REK
that I sin מֵחֲט֪וֹא ḥāṭāʾ ha-TA
not with my tongue: בִלְשׁ֫וֹנִ֥י lāšôn la-SHONE
I will keep אֶשְׁמְרָ֥ה šāmar sha-MAHR
my mouth לְפִ֥י pe peh
with a bridle, מַחְס֑וֹם maḥsôm mahk-SOME
while בְּעֹ֖ד ʿôd ode
the wicked רָשָׁ֣ע rāšāʿ ra-SHA
is before me. לְנֶגְדִּֽי׃ neged neh-ɡED
