ഭൂമിയിൽ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും ഭക്ഷിച്ചാരാധിക്കും; പൊടിയിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കുമ്പിടും; തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്തവനും കൂടെ.

| to the dust | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| shall bow | יוֹרְדֵ֣י | yôrĕdê | yoh-reh-DAY |
| before | עָפָ֑ר | ʿāpār | ah-FAHR |
| none and him: | וְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹ | wĕnapšô | VEH-nahf-SHOH |
