അവൻ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കു പുല്ലും മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്നായി സസ്യവും മുളെപ്പിക്കുന്നു;

| cattle, the for | לַבְּהֵמָ֗ה | labbĕhēmâ | la-beh-hay-MA |
| and herb | וְ֭עֵשֶׂב | wĕʿēśeb | VEH-ay-sev |
| service the for | לַעֲבֹדַ֣ת | laʿăbōdat | la-uh-voh-DAHT |
| of man: | הָאָדָ֑ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| forth bring may he that | לְה֥וֹצִיא | lĕhôṣîʾ | leh-HOH-tsee |
| food | לֶ֝֗חֶם | leḥem | LEH-hem |
| out of | מִן | min | meen |
