ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോകുവാൻ അനുവദിക്കേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ വയലിലെങ്കിലും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലെങ്കിലും കയറുകയില്ല, കിണറ്റിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയുമില്ല; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ അതിർകഴിയുംവരെ രാജപാതയിൽകൂടി തന്നേ പൊയ്ക്കൊള്ളാം എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.
