Matthew 16 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And the Pharisees and Sadducees having come, tempting, did question him, to shew to them a sign from the heaven,അനന്തരം പരീശന്മാരും സദൂക്യരും അടുക്കെ വന്നു: ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു ഒരു അടയാളം കാണിച്ചുതരേണമെന്നു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു.

2 and he answering said to them, `Evening having come, ye say, Fair weather, for the heaven is red,അവരോടു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു ആകാശം ചുവന്നുകണ്ടാൽ നല്ല തെളിവാകും എന്നും

3 and at morning, Foul weather to-day, for the heaven is red -- gloomy; hypocrites, the face of the heavens indeed ye do know to discern, but the signs of the times ye are not able!രാവിലെ ആകാശം മൂടി ചുവന്നുകണ്ടാൽ ഇന്നു മഴക്കോൾ ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നും നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു. ആകാശത്തിന്റെ ഭാവം വിവേചിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; എന്നാൽ കാല ലക്ഷണങ്ങളെ വിവേചിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ലയോ?

4 `A generation evil and adulterous doth seek a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet;' and having left them he went away.ദോഷവും വ്യഭിചാരവുമുള്ള തലമുറ അടയാളം തിരയുന്നു; യോനയുടെ അടയാള മല്ലാതെ അതിന്നു അടയാളം ലഭിക്കയില്ല;” പിന്നെ അവൻ അവരെ വിട്ടു പോയി.

5 And his disciples having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves,ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അക്കരെ പോകുമ്പോൾ അപ്പം എടുപ്പാൻ മറന്നുപോയി.

6 and Jesus said to them, `Beware, and take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees;'എന്നാൽ യേശു അവരോടു: “നോക്കുവിൻ പരീശന്മാരുടെയും സദൂക്യരുടെയും പുളിച്ച മാവു സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.”

7 and they were reasoning in themselves, saying, `Because we took no loaves.'അപ്പം കൊണ്ടുപോരായ്കയാൽ ആയിരിക്കും എന്നു അവർ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

8 And Jesus having known, said to them, `Why reason ye in yourselves, ye of little faith, because ye took no loaves?അതു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു യേശു പറഞ്ഞതു: അല്പവിശ്വാസികളേ, അപ്പം കൊണ്ടുവരായ്കയാൽ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറയുന്നതു എന്തു?

9 do ye not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets ye took up?ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അയ്യായിരം പേർക്കു അഞ്ചു അപ്പം കൊടുത്തിട്ടു എത്ര കൊട്ട എടുത്തു എന്നും

10 nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?നാലായിരം പേർക്കു ഏഴു അപ്പം കൊടുത്തിട്ടു എത്ര വട്ടി എടുത്തു എന്നും ഓർക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

11 how do ye not understand that I did not speak to you of bread -- to take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?'പരീശന്മാരുടെയും സദൂക്യരുടെയും പുളിച്ച മാവു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു അപ്പത്തെക്കുറിച്ചല്ല എന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയാത്തതു എന്തു?

12 Then they understood that he did not say to take heed of the leaven of the bread, but of the teaching, of the Pharisees and Sadducees.അങ്ങനെ അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പുളിച്ച മാവല്ല, പരീശന്മാരുടെയും സദൂക്യരുടെയും ഉപദേശമത്രേ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവാൻ ” അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു അവർ ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

13 And Jesus, having come to the parts of Cesarea Philippi, was asking his disciples, saying, `Who do men say me to be -- the Son of Man?'യേശു ഫിലിപ്പിന്റെ കൈസര്യയുടെ പ്രദേശത്തു എത്തിയശേഷം തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു: “ജനങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ആർ എന്നു പറയുന്നു?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

14 and they said, `Some, John the Baptist, and others, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.'ചിലർ യോഹന്നാൻ സ്നാപകൻ എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലർ ഏലീയാവെന്നും വേറെ ചിലർ യിരെമ്യാവോ പ്രവാചകന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനോ എന്നും പറയുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

15 He saith to them, `And ye -- who do ye say me to be?'“നിങ്ങളോ എന്നെ ആർ എന്നു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ്:

16 and Simon Peter answering said, `Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.'നീ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പുത്രനായ ക്രിസ്തുഎന്നും ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

17 And Jesus answering said to him, `Happy art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal `it' to thee, but my Father who is in the heavens.യേശു അവനോടു: “ബർയോനാശിമോനെ, നീ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; ജഡരക്തങ്ങൾ അല്ല, സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവത്രെ നിനക്കു ഇതു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതു.

18 `And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it;നീ പത്രൊസ് ആകുന്നു; ഈ പാറമേൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഭയെ പണിയും; പാതാളഗോപുരങ്ങൾ അതിനെ ജയിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു.

19 and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens.'സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ താക്കോൽ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്നു; നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ കെട്ടുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ കെട്ടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും; നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ അഴിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ അഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കും” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

20 Then did he charge his disciples that they may say to no one that he is Jesus the Christ.പിന്നെ താൻ ക്രിസ്തു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ആരോടും പറയാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

21 From that time began Jesus to shew to his disciples that it is necessary for him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders, and chief priests, and scribes, and to be put to death, and the third day to rise.അന്നു മുതൽ യേശു താൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ചെന്നിട്ടു, മൂപ്പന്മാർ, മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാർ, ശാസ്ത്രിമാർ എന്നിവരാൽ പലതും സഹിച്ചു കൊല്ലപ്പെടുകയും മൂന്നാം നാൾ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും വേണ്ടതു എന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.

22 And having taken him aside, Peter began to rebuke him, saying, `Be kind to thyself, sir; this shall not be to thee;'പത്രൊസ് അവനെ വേറിട്ടു കൊണ്ടുപോയി: കർത്താവേ, അതു അരുതേ; നിനക്കു അങ്ങനെ ഭവിക്കരുതേ എന്നു ശാസിച്ചുതുടങ്ങി.

23 and he having turned, said to Peter, `Get thee behind me, adversary! thou art a stumbling-block to me, for thou dost not mind the things of God, but the things of men.'അവനോ തിരിഞ്ഞു പത്രൊസിനോടു; “സാത്താനേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോ; നീ എനിക്കു ഇടർച്ചയാകുന്നു; നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റേതല്ല മനുഷ്യരുടേതത്രെ കരുതുന്നതു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

24 Then said Jesus to his disciples, `If any one doth will to come after me, let him disown himself, and take up his cross, and follow me,പിന്നെ യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഒരുത്തൻ എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചാൽ തന്നെത്താൻ ത്യജിച്ചു, തന്റെ ക്രൂശു എടുത്തു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കട്ടെ.

25 for whoever may will to save his life, shall lose it, and whoever may lose his life for my sake shall find it,ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചാൽ അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞാൽ അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

26 for what is a man profited if he may gain the whole world, but of his life suffer loss? or what shall a man give as an exchange for his life?ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ സർവ്വലോകവും നേടീട്ടും തന്റെ ജീവനെ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ അവന്നു എന്തു പ്രയോജനം? അല്ല, തന്റെ ജീവനെ വീണ്ടുകൊൾവാൻ മനുഷ്യൻ എന്തു മറുവില കൊടുക്കും?

27 `For, the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father, with his messengers, and then he will reward each, according to his work.മനുഷ്യ പുത്രൻ തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിൽ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരുമായി വരും; അപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഓരോരുത്തന്നും അവനവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം പകരം നല്കും.

28 Verily I say to you, there are certain of those standing here who shall not taste of death till they may see the Son of Man coming in his reign.'മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ വരുന്നതു കാണുവോളം മരണം ആസ്വദിക്കാത്തവർ ചിലർ ഈ നില്ക്കുന്നവരിൽ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”
