അതുകൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവന്നു ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിപ്പാൻ ഒരുത്തനും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; അവന്റെ ശവം പകൽ വെയിലും രാത്രിയിൽ മഞ്ഞു ഏല്പാൻ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
