യെശയ്യാ 47:11
അതുകൊണ്ടു മന്ത്രവാദത്താൽ നീക്കുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത അനർത്ഥം നിന്റെമേൽ വരും; നിന്നാൽ പരിഹരിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ആപത്തു നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും; നീ അറിയാത്ത നാശം പെട്ടെന്നു നിന്റെ മേൽ വരും.

| come | עָלַ֣יִךְ | ʿālayik | ah-LA-yeek |
| upon | רָעָ֗ה | rāʿâ | ra-AH |
| not shalt thou thee; | לֹ֤א | lōʾ | loh |
| know | תֵדְעִי֙ | tēdĕʿiy | tay-deh-EE |
| riseth: it whence from | שַׁחְרָ֔הּ | šaḥrāh | shahk-RA |
| and mischief | וְתִפֹּ֤ל | wĕtippōl | veh-tee-POLE |
| shall fall | עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ | ʿālayik | ah-LA-yeek |
| upon | הוָֹ֔ה | hôâ | hoh-AH |
| not shalt thou thee; | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| be able | תוּכְלִ֖י | tûkĕlî | too-heh-LEE |
| off: it put to | כַּפְּרָ֑הּ | kappĕrāh | ka-peh-RA |
| and desolation | וְתָבֹ֨א | wĕtābōʾ | veh-ta-VOH |
| come shall | עָלַ֧יִךְ | ʿālayik | ah-LA-yeek |
| upon | פִּתְאֹ֛ם | pitʾōm | peet-OME |
| thee suddenly, | שֹׁאָ֖ה | šōʾâ | shoh-AH |
| which thou shalt not | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| know. | תֵדָֽעִי׃ | tēdāʿî | tay-DA-ee |
