Isaiah 42
14 ഞാൻ ബഹുകാലം മിണ്ടാതെയിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ മൌനമായി അടങ്ങിപ്പാർത്തിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴോ നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ ഞരങ്ങി നെടുവീർപ്പിട്ടു കതെക്കും.
15 ഞാൻ മലകളെയും കുന്നുകളെയും ശൂന്യമാക്കി അവയുടെ സസ്യങ്ങളെ എല്ലാം ഉണക്കിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ നദികളെ ദ്വീപുകളാക്കും; പൊയ്കകളെ വറ്റിച്ചുകളയും.
14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
