ഇങ്ങനെ യോദ്ധാക്കൾ ഒക്കെയും ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു മരിച്ചു ഒടുങ്ങിയശേഷം

| when | כַֽאֲשֶׁר | kaʾăšer | HA-uh-sher |
| all | תַּ֜מּוּ | tammû | TA-moo |
| the men | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| war of | אַנְשֵׁ֧י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| were consumed | הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה | hammilḥāmâ | ha-meel-ha-MA |
| and dead | לָמ֖וּת | lāmût | la-MOOT |
| from among | מִקֶּ֥רֶב | miqqereb | mee-KEH-rev |
| the people, | הָעָֽם׃ | hāʿām | ha-AM |
