രാജാവിന്റെ മഹത്തുക്കളുടെയും വാക്കു ഹേതുവായി രാജ്ഞി ഭോജനശാലയിൽ വന്നു: രാജാവു ദീർഘായുസ്സായിരിക്കട്ടെ; തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു വിചാരങ്ങളാൽ പരവശനാകരുതു; മുഖഭാവം മാറുകയും അരുതു.

ഇങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു കാര്യത്തിന്റെ സമാപ്തി; ദാനീയേൽ എന്ന ഞാനോ എന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങളാൽ അത്യന്തം പരവശനായി എന്റെ മുഖഭാവവും മാറി; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ആ കാര്യം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെച്ചു.
