Amos 1
13 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അമ്മോന്യരുടെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തം, അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അതിർ വിസ്താരമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഗിലെയാദിലെ ഗർഭിണികളെ പിളർന്നുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ, ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.
14 ഞാൻ രബ്ബയുടെ മതിലിന്നകത്തു ഒരു തീ കത്തിക്കും; അതു യുദ്ധദിവസത്തിലെ ആർപ്പോടും പിശറുള്ള നാളിലെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റോടുംകൂടെ അതിലെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
13 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
