അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ ചെയ്തതു പോലെ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു, തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകല വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും ആമോൻ ബലികഴിച്ചു അവയെ സേവിച്ചു.

But he did	וַיַּ֤עַשׂ	wayyaʿaś	va-YA-as
that which was evil	הָרַע֙	hāraʿ	ha-RA
sight the in	בְּעֵינֵ֣י	bĕʿênê	beh-ay-NAY
of the Lord,	יְהוָ֔ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
as	כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר	kaʾăšer	ka-uh-SHER
did	עָשָׂ֖ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
Manasseh	מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה	mĕnašše	meh-na-SHEH
father: his	אָבִ֑יו	ʾābîw	ah-VEEOO
for Amon	וּלְכָל	ûlĕkāl	oo-leh-HAHL
sacrificed	הַפְּסִילִ֗ים	happĕsîlîm	ha-peh-see-LEEM
unto all	אֲשֶׁ֤ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
the carved images	עָשָׂה֙	ʿāśāh	ah-SA
which	מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה	mĕnašše	meh-na-SHEH
Manasseh	אָבִ֔יו	ʾābîw	ah-VEEOO
his father	זִבַּ֥ח	zibbaḥ	zee-BAHK
had made,	אָמ֖וֹן	ʾāmôn	ah-MONE
and served	וַיַּֽעַבְדֵֽם׃	wayyaʿabdēm	va-YA-av-DAME
