അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും അവന്നു വിരോധമായുള്ള പ്രവചനബാഹുല്യത്തിന്റെയും ദൈവലായം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീർത്തതിന്റെയും വൃത്താന്തം രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ചരിത്രപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അവന്റെ മകനായ അമസ്യാവു അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
