| And to them which | וְלַֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר | wĕlaʾăšer | veh-la-uh-SHER |
| Hebron, in were | בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן | bĕḥebrôn | beh-hev-RONE |
| and to all | וּֽלְכָל | ûlĕkol | OO-leh-hole |
| places the | הַמְּקֹמ֛וֹת | hammĕqōmôt | ha-meh-koh-MOTE |
| where | אֲשֶֽׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| הִתְהַלֶּךְ | hithallek | heet-ha-LEK | |
| David | שָׁ֥ם | šām | shahm |
| himself | דָּוִ֖ד | dāwid | da-VEED |
| men his and | ה֥וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| were wont to haunt. | וַֽאֲנָשָֽׁיו׃ | waʾănāšāyw | VA-uh-na-SHAIV |
