അവന്റെ വക ആയിരം രഥങ്ങളെയും ഏഴായിരം കുതിരപ്പടയാളികളെയും ഇരുപതിനായിരം കാലാളുകളെയും ദാവീദ് പിടിച്ചു; ദാവീദ് അവയിൽ നൂറു രഥകൂതിരകളെ വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടുശേഷം രഥകൂതിരകളെ ഒക്കെയും കുതിഞരമ്പു വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
