Luke 23 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And having risen, the whole multitude of them did lead him to Pilate,അനന്തരം അവർ എല്ലാവരും കൂട്ടമേ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനെ പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി:

2 and began to accuse him, saying, `This one we found perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be Christ a king.'ഇവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജാതിയെ മറിച്ചുകളകയും താൻ ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന രാജാവാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു കൈസർക്കു കരം കൊടുക്കുന്നതു വിരോധിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു എന്നു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിത്തുടങ്ങി.

3 And Pilate questioned him, saying, `Thou art the king of the Jews?' and he answering him, said, `Thou dost say `it'.'പീലാത്തൊസ് അവനോടു: നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവൊ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: “ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു” എന്നു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And Pilate said unto the chief priests, and the multitude, `I find no fault in this man;'പീലാത്തൊസ് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പുരുഷാരത്തോടും: ഞാൻ ഈ മനുഷ്യനിൽ കുറ്റം ഒന്നും കാണുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 and they were the more urgent, saying -- `He doth stir up the people, teaching throughout the whole of Judea -- having begun from Galilee -- unto this place.'അതിന്നു അവർ: അവൻ ഗലീലയിൽ തുടങ്ങി യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ എങ്ങും ഇവിടത്തോളവും പഠിപ്പിച്ചു ജനത്തെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിഷ്കർഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 And Pilate having heard of Galilee, questioned if the man is a Galilean,ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഗലീലക്കാരനോ എന്നു പീലാത്തൊസ് ചോദിച്ചു;

7 and having known that he is from the jurisdiction of Herod, he sent him back unto Herod, he being also in Jerusalem in those days.ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ അധികാരത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു, അന്നു യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അവനെ അയച്ചു.

8 And Herod having seen Jesus did rejoice exceedingly, for he was wishing for a long `time' to see him, because of hearing many things about him, and he was hoping some sign to see done by him,ഹെരോദാവു യേശുവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ കാണ്മാൻ വളരെക്കാലമായി ഇച്ഛിച്ചു, അവൻ വല്ല അടയാളവും ചെയ്യുന്നതു കാണാം എന്നു ആശിച്ചിരുന്നു.

9 and was questioning him in many words, and he answered him nothing.ഏറിയോന്നു ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ അവനോടു ഉത്തരം ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

10 And the chief priests and the scribes stood vehemently accusing him,മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും കഠിനമായി അവനെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നു.

11 and Herod with his soldiers having set him at nought, and having mocked, having put around him gorgeous apparel, did send him back to Pilate,ഹെരോദാവു തന്റെ പടയാളികളുമായി അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു നിസ്സാരനാക്കി ശുഭ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടക്കി അയച്ചു.

12 and both Pilate and Herod became friends on that day with one another, for they were before at enmity between themselves.അന്നു ഹെരോദാവും പീലാത്തൊസും തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിതന്മാരായിത്തീർന്നു; മുമ്പെ അവർ തമ്മിൽ വൈരമായിരുന്നു.

13 And Pilate having called together the chief priests, and the rulers, and the people,പീലാത്തൊസ് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പ്രമാണികളെയും ജനത്തെയും വിളിച്ചു കൂട്ടി.

14 said unto them, `Ye brought to me this man as perverting the people, and lo, I before you having examined, found in this man no fault in those things ye bring forward against him;അവരോടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ജനത്തെ മത്സരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വിസ്തരിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ ചുമത്തിയ കുറ്റം ഒന്നും ഇവനിൽ കണ്ടില്ല;

15 no, nor yet Herod, for I sent you back unto him, and lo, nothing worthy of death is having been done by him;ഹെരോദാവും കണ്ടില്ല; അവൻ അവനെ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടക്കി അയച്ചുവല്ലോ; ഇവൻ മരണയോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല സ്പഷ്ടം;

16 having chastised, therefore, I will release him,'അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനെ അടിപ്പിച്ചു വിട്ടയക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

17 for it was necessary for him to release to them one at every feast,ഇവനെ നീക്കിക്കളക; ബറബ്ബാസിനെ വിട്ടു തരിക എന്നു എല്ലാവരുംകൂടെ നിലവിളിച്ചു,

18 and they cried out -- the whole multitude -- saying, `Away with this one, and release to us Barabbas,'(ഉത്സവന്തോറും ഒരുത്തനെ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്ക പതിവായിരുന്നു)

19 who had been, because of a certain sedition made in the city, and murder, cast into prison.അവനോ നഗരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായ ഒരു കലഹവും കുലയും ഹേതുവായി തടവിലായവൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

20 Pilate again then -- wishing to release Jesus -- called to them,പീലാത്തൊസ് യേശുവിനെ വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു പിന്നെയും അവരോടു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 but they were calling out, saying, `Crucify, crucify him.'അവരോ: അവനെ ക്രൂശിക്ക, ക്രൂശിക്ക എന്നു എതിരെ നിലവിളിച്ചു.

22 And he a third time said unto them, `Why, what evil did he? no cause of death did I find in him; having chastised him, then, I will release `him'.'അവൻ മൂന്നാമതും അവരോടു: അവൻ ചെയ്ത ദോഷം എന്തു? മരണയോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും അവനിൽ കണ്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനെ അടിപ്പിച്ചു വിട്ടയക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 And they were pressing with loud voices asking him to be crucified, and their voices, and those of the chief priests, were prevailing,അവരോ അവനെ ക്രൂശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഉറക്കെ മുട്ടിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി ഫലിച്ചു;

24 and Pilate gave judgment for their request being done,അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷപോലെ ആകട്ടെ എന്നു പീലാത്തൊസ് വിധിച്ചു.

25 and he released him who because of sedition and murder hath been cast into the prison, whom they were asking, and Jesus he gave up to their will.കലഹവും കുലയും ഹേതുവായി തടവിലായവനെ അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷപോലെ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയും യേശുവിനെ അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

26 And as they led him away, having taken hold on Simon, a certain Cyrenian, coming from the field, they put on him the cross, to bear `it' behind Jesus.അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുമ്പോൾ വയലിൽ നിന്നു വരുന്ന ശിമോൻ എന്ന ഒരു കുറേനക്കാരനെ അവർ പിടിച്ചു ക്രൂശ് ചുമപ്പിച്ചു യേശുവിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നടക്കുമാറാക്കി.

27 And there was following him a great multitude of the people, and of women, who also were beating themselves and lamenting him,ഒരു വലിയ ജനസമൂഹവും അവനെച്ചൊല്ലി വിലപിച്ചു മുറയിടുന്ന അനേകം സ്ത്രീകളും അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

28 and Jesus having turned unto them, said, `Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but for yourselves weep ye, and for your children;യേശു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവരെ നോക്കി: “യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിമാരേ, എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി കരയേണ്ടാ, നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും ചൊല്ലി കരവിൻ.

29 for, lo, days do come, in which they shall say, Happy the barren, and wombs that did not bare, and paps that did not give suck;മച്ചികളും പ്രസവിക്കാത്ത ഉദരങ്ങളും കുടിപ്പിക്കാത്ത മുലകളും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളവ എന്നു പറയുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു.

30 then they shall begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us, and to the hills, Cover us; --അന്നു മലകളോടു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വീഴുവിൻ എന്നും കുന്നുകളോടു: ഞങ്ങളെ മൂടുവിൻ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങും.

31 for, if in the green tree they do these things -- in the dry what may happen?'പച്ചമരത്തോടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ ഉണങ്ങിയതിന്നു എന്തു ഭവിക്കും”എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32 And there were also others -- two evil-doers -- with him, to be put to death;ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായ വേറെ രണ്ടുപേരെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

33 and when they came to the place that is called Skull, there they crucified him and the evil-doers, one on the right hand and one on the left.തലയോടിടം എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ അവിടെ അവനെയും ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരെയും, ഒരുത്തനെ വലത്തും ഒരുത്തനെ ഇടത്തുമായി, ക്രൂശിച്ചു.

34 And Jesus said, `Father, forgive them, for they have not known what they do;' and parting his garments they cast a lot.എന്നാൽ യേശു: “പിതാവേ, ഇവർ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഇവരോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അനന്തരം അവർ അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രം വിഭാഗിച്ചു ചീട്ടിട്ടു.

35 And the people were standing, looking on, and the rulers also were sneering with them, saying, `Others he saved, let him save himself, if this be the Christ, the choice one of God.'ജനം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നു. ഇവൻ മറുള്ളവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചുവല്ലോ; ദൈവം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ക്രിസ്തു എങ്കിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രധാനികളും പരിഹസിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

36 And mocking him also were the soldiers, coming near and offering vinegar to him,പടയാളികളും അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു അടുത്തു വന്നു അവന്നു പുളിച്ചവീഞ്ഞു കാണിച്ചു.

37 and saying, `If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.'നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവു എങ്കിൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ രക്ഷിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

38 And there was also a superscription written over him, in letters of Greek, and Roman, and Hebrew, `This is the King of the Jews.'ഇവൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവു എന്നു ഒരു മേലെഴുത്തും അവന്റെ മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

39 And one of the evil-doers who were hanged, was speaking evil of him, saying, `If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us.'തൂക്കിയ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ: നീ ക്രിസ്തു അല്ലയോ? നിന്നെത്തന്നേയും ഞങ്ങളെയും രക്ഷിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ദുഷിച്ചു.

40 And the other answering, was rebuking him, saying, `Dost thou not even fear God, that thou art in the same judgment?മറ്റവനോ അവനെ ശാസിച്ചു: സമശിക്ഷാവിധിയിൽ തന്നേ ആയിട്ടും നീ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നില്ലയോ?

41 and we indeed righteously, for things worthy of what we did we receive back, but this one did nothing out of place;'നാമോ ന്യായമായിട്ടു ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; നാം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതിന്നു യോഗ്യമായതല്ലോ കിട്ടുന്നതു; ഇവനോ അരുതാത്തതു ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

42 and he said to Jesus, `Remember me, lord, when thou mayest come in thy reign;'പിന്നെ അവൻ: യേശുവേ, നീ രാജത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചു വരുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

43 and Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, To-day with me thou shalt be in the paradise.'യേശു അവനോടു: “ഇന്നു നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ പറുദീസയിൽ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായി നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44 And it was, as it were, the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land till the ninth hour,ഏകദേശം ആറാം മണി നേരമായപ്പോൾ സൂര്യൻ ഇരുണ്ടുപോയിട്ടു ഒമ്പതാം മണിവരെ ദേശത്തു ഒക്കെയും അന്ധകാരം ഉണ്ടായി.

45 and the sun was darkened, and the vail of the sanctuary was rent in the midst,ദൈവമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തിരശ്ശീല നടുവെ ചീന്തിപ്പോയി.

46 and having cried with a loud voice, Jesus said, `Father, to Thy hands I commit my spirit;' and these things having said, he breathed forth the spirit.യേശു അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ “പിതാവേ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ തൃക്കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു; ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടു.

47 And the centurion having seen what was done, did glorify God, saying, `Really this man was righteous;'ഈ സംഭവിച്ചതു ശതാധിപൻ കണ്ടിട്ടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ വാസ്തവമായി നീതിമാൻ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

48 and all the multitudes who were come together to this sight, beholding the things that came to pass, smiting their breasts did turn back;കാണ്മാൻ കൂടി വന്ന പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും സംഭവിച്ചതു കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറത്തടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

49 and all his acquaintances stood afar off, and women who did follow him from Galilee, beholding these things.അവന്റെ പരിചയക്കാർ എല്ലാവരും ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചസ്ത്രീകളും ഇതു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു ദൂരത്തു നിന്നു.

50 And lo, a man, by name Joseph, being a counsellor, a man good and righteous,അരിമത്യ എന്നൊരു യെഹൂദ്യപട്ടണക്കാരനായി നല്ലവനും നീതിമാനും ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്നവനുമായ യോസേഫ് എന്നൊരു മന്ത്രി —

51 -- he was not consenting to their counsel and deed -- from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who also himself was expecting the reign of God,അവൻ അവരുടെ ആലോചനെക്കും പ്രവൃത്തിക്കും അനുകൂലമല്ലായിരുന്നു —

52 he, having gone near to Pilate, asked the body of Jesus,പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു യേശുവിന്റെ ശരീരം ചോദിച്ചു,

53 and having taken it down, he wrapped it in fine linen, and placed it in a tomb hewn out, where no one was yet laid.അതു ഇറക്കി ഒരു ശീലയിൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞു പാറയിൽ വെട്ടിയിരുന്നതും ആരെയും ഒരിക്കലും വെച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതുമായ കല്ലറയിൽ വെച്ചു.

54 And the day was a preparation, and sabbath was approaching,അന്നു ഒരുക്കനാൾ ആയിരുന്നു, ശബ്ബത്തും ആരംഭിച്ചു.

55 and the women also who have come with him out of Galilee having followed after, beheld the tomb, and how his body was placed,ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ പോന്ന സ്ത്രീകളും പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു കല്ലറയും അവന്റെ ശരീരം വെച്ച വിധവും കണ്ടിട്ടു

56 and having turned back, they made ready spices and ointments, and on the sabbath, indeed, they rested, according to the command.മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗവും പരിമളതൈലവും ഒരുക്കി; കല്പന അനുസരിച്ചു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ സ്വസ്ഥമായിരന്നു.
