Luke 23 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And they all went and took him before Pilate.അനന്തരം അവർ എല്ലാവരും കൂട്ടമേ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനെ പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി:

2 And they made statements against him, saying, This man has to our knowledge been teaching our nation to do wrong, and not to make payment of taxes to Caesar, even saying that he himself is Christ, a king.ഇവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജാതിയെ മറിച്ചുകളകയും താൻ ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന രാജാവാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു കൈസർക്കു കരം കൊടുക്കുന്നതു വിരോധിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു എന്നു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിത്തുടങ്ങി.

3 And Pilate said to him, Are you the King of the Jews? And he said in answer, You say so.പീലാത്തൊസ് അവനോടു: നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവൊ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: “ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു” എന്നു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And Pilate said to the chief priests and the people, In my opinion this man has done no wrong.പീലാത്തൊസ് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പുരുഷാരത്തോടും: ഞാൻ ഈ മനുഷ്യനിൽ കുറ്റം ഒന്നും കാണുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 But they became more violent than before, saying, He has made trouble among the people, teaching through all Judaea from Galilee to this place.അതിന്നു അവർ: അവൻ ഗലീലയിൽ തുടങ്ങി യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ എങ്ങും ഇവിടത്തോളവും പഠിപ്പിച്ചു ജനത്തെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിഷ്കർഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 But at these words Pilate said, Is the man a Galilaean?ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഗലീലക്കാരനോ എന്നു പീലാത്തൊസ് ചോദിച്ചു;

7 And when he saw that he was under the authority of Herod, he sent him to Herod, who was in Jerusalem himself at that time.ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ അധികാരത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു, അന്നു യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അവനെ അയച്ചു.

8 Now when Herod saw Jesus he was very glad, having for a long time had a desire to see him, for he had had accounts of him, and was hoping to see some wonders done by him.ഹെരോദാവു യേശുവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ കാണ്മാൻ വളരെക്കാലമായി ഇച്ഛിച്ചു, അവൻ വല്ല അടയാളവും ചെയ്യുന്നതു കാണാം എന്നു ആശിച്ചിരുന്നു.

9 And he put a great number of questions to him, but he said nothing.ഏറിയോന്നു ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ അവനോടു ഉത്തരം ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

10 And the chief priests and the scribes were there, making statements against him violently.മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും കഠിനമായി അവനെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നു.

11 And Herod, with the men of his army, put shame on him and made sport of him, and dressing him in shining robes, he sent him back to Pilate.ഹെരോദാവു തന്റെ പടയാളികളുമായി അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു നിസ്സാരനാക്കി ശുഭ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടക്കി അയച്ചു.

12 And that day Herod and Pilate became friends with one another, for before they had been against one another.അന്നു ഹെരോദാവും പീലാത്തൊസും തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിതന്മാരായിത്തീർന്നു; മുമ്പെ അവർ തമ്മിൽ വൈരമായിരുന്നു.

13 And Pilate sent for the chief priests and the rulers and the people, and said to them,പീലാത്തൊസ് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പ്രമാണികളെയും ജനത്തെയും വിളിച്ചു കൂട്ടി.

14 You say that this man has been teaching the people evil things: now I, after going into the question before you, see nothing wrong in this man in connection with the things which you have said against him:അവരോടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ജനത്തെ മത്സരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വിസ്തരിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ ചുമത്തിയ കുറ്റം ഒന്നും ഇവനിൽ കണ്ടില്ല;

15 And Herod is of the same opinion, for he has sent him back to us; for, you see, he has done nothing for which I might put him to death.ഹെരോദാവും കണ്ടില്ല; അവൻ അവനെ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടക്കി അയച്ചുവല്ലോ; ഇവൻ മരണയോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല സ്പഷ്ടം;

16 And so I will give him punishment and let him go.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനെ അടിപ്പിച്ചു വിട്ടയക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

17 []ഇവനെ നീക്കിക്കളക; ബറബ്ബാസിനെ വിട്ടു തരിക എന്നു എല്ലാവരുംകൂടെ നിലവിളിച്ചു,

18 But with loud voices they said all together, Put this man to death, and make Barabbas free.(ഉത്സവന്തോറും ഒരുത്തനെ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്ക പതിവായിരുന്നു)

19 Now this man was in prison because of an attack against the government in the town, in which there had been loss of life.അവനോ നഗരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായ ഒരു കലഹവും കുലയും ഹേതുവായി തടവിലായവൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

20 And Pilate again said to them that it was his desire to let Jesus go free.പീലാത്തൊസ് യേശുവിനെ വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു പിന്നെയും അവരോടു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 But crying out they said, To the cross with him!അവരോ: അവനെ ക്രൂശിക്ക, ക്രൂശിക്ക എന്നു എതിരെ നിലവിളിച്ചു.

22 And he said to them a third time, Why, what evil has he done? I see no reason for putting him to death: I will give him punishment and let him go.അവൻ മൂന്നാമതും അവരോടു: അവൻ ചെയ്ത ദോഷം എന്തു? മരണയോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും അവനിൽ കണ്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനെ അടിപ്പിച്ചു വിട്ടയക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 But they went on crying out loudly, Let him be put to death on the cross. And they had their way.അവരോ അവനെ ക്രൂശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഉറക്കെ മുട്ടിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി ഫലിച്ചു;

24 And Pilate gave his decision for their desire to be put into effect.അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷപോലെ ആകട്ടെ എന്നു പീലാത്തൊസ് വിധിച്ചു.

25 And in answer to their request, he let that man go free who had been in prison for acting against the government and causing death, and Jesus he gave up to their pleasure.കലഹവും കുലയും ഹേതുവായി തടവിലായവനെ അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷപോലെ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയും യേശുവിനെ അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

26 And while they were taking him away, they put their hands on Simon of Cyrene, who was coming from the country, and made him take the cross after Jesus.അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുമ്പോൾ വയലിൽ നിന്നു വരുന്ന ശിമോൻ എന്ന ഒരു കുറേനക്കാരനെ അവർ പിടിച്ചു ക്രൂശ് ചുമപ്പിച്ചു യേശുവിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നടക്കുമാറാക്കി.

27 And a great band of people went after him, and of women making signs of grief and weeping for him.ഒരു വലിയ ജനസമൂഹവും അവനെച്ചൊല്ലി വിലപിച്ചു മുറയിടുന്ന അനേകം സ്ത്രീകളും അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, let not your weeping be for me, but for yourselves and for your children.യേശു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവരെ നോക്കി: “യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിമാരേ, എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി കരയേണ്ടാ, നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും ചൊല്ലി കരവിൻ.

29 For the days are coming in which they will say, Happy are those who have had no children, whose bodies have never given birth, whose breasts have never given milk.മച്ചികളും പ്രസവിക്കാത്ത ഉദരങ്ങളും കുടിപ്പിക്കാത്ത മുലകളും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളവ എന്നു പറയുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു.

30 And they will say to the mountains, Come down on us, and to the hills, Be a cover over us.അന്നു മലകളോടു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വീഴുവിൻ എന്നും കുന്നുകളോടു: ഞങ്ങളെ മൂടുവിൻ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങും.

31 For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will they do when it is dry?പച്ചമരത്തോടു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ ഉണങ്ങിയതിന്നു എന്തു ഭവിക്കും”എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32 And two others, evil-doers, were taken with him to be put to death.ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായ വേറെ രണ്ടുപേരെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

33 And when they came to the place which is named Golgotha, they put him on the cross, and the evil-doers, one on the right side, and the other on the left.തലയോടിടം എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ അവിടെ അവനെയും ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരെയും, ഒരുത്തനെ വലത്തും ഒരുത്തനെ ഇടത്തുമായി, ക്രൂശിച്ചു.

34 And Jesus said, Father, let them have forgiveness, for they have no knowledge of what they are doing. And they made division of his clothing among them by the decision of chance.എന്നാൽ യേശു: “പിതാവേ, ഇവർ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഇവരോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അനന്തരം അവർ അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രം വിഭാഗിച്ചു ചീട്ടിട്ടു.

35 And the people were looking on. And the rulers made sport of him, saying, He was a saviour of others; let him do something for himself, if he is the Christ, the man of God's selection.ജനം നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നു. ഇവൻ മറുള്ളവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചുവല്ലോ; ദൈവം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ക്രിസ്തു എങ്കിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ രക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രധാനികളും പരിഹസിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

36 And the men of the army made sport of him, coming to him and giving him bitter wine,പടയാളികളും അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു അടുത്തു വന്നു അവന്നു പുളിച്ചവീഞ്ഞു കാണിച്ചു.

37 And saying, If you are the King of the Jews, get yourself free.നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവു എങ്കിൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ രക്ഷിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

38 And these words were put in writing over him, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.ഇവൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ രാജാവു എന്നു ഒരു മേലെഴുത്തും അവന്റെ മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

39 And one of the evil-doers on the cross, with bitter feeling, said to him, Are you not the Christ? Get yourself and us out of this.തൂക്കിയ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ: നീ ക്രിസ്തു അല്ലയോ? നിന്നെത്തന്നേയും ഞങ്ങളെയും രക്ഷിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ദുഷിച്ചു.

40 But the other, protesting, said, Have you no fear of God? for you have a part in the same punishment,മറ്റവനോ അവനെ ശാസിച്ചു: സമശിക്ഷാവിധിയിൽ തന്നേ ആയിട്ടും നീ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നില്ലയോ?

41 And with reason; for we have the right reward of our acts, but this man has done nothing wrong.നാമോ ന്യായമായിട്ടു ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; നാം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതിന്നു യോഗ്യമായതല്ലോ കിട്ടുന്നതു; ഇവനോ അരുതാത്തതു ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

42 And he said, Jesus, keep me in mind when you come in your kingdom.പിന്നെ അവൻ: യേശുവേ, നീ രാജത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചു വരുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

43 And he said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you will be with me in Paradise.യേശു അവനോടു: “ഇന്നു നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ പറുദീസയിൽ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായി നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44 And it was now about the sixth hour; and all the land was dark till the ninth hour;ഏകദേശം ആറാം മണി നേരമായപ്പോൾ സൂര്യൻ ഇരുണ്ടുപോയിട്ടു ഒമ്പതാം മണിവരെ ദേശത്തു ഒക്കെയും അന്ധകാരം ഉണ്ടായി.

45 The light of the sun went out, and the curtain in the Temple was parted in two.ദൈവമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തിരശ്ശീല നടുവെ ചീന്തിപ്പോയി.

46 And Jesus gave a loud cry and said, Father, into your hands I give my spirit: and when he had said this, he gave up his spirit.യേശു അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ “പിതാവേ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ തൃക്കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു; ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടു.

47 And when the captain saw what was done, he gave praise to God, saying, Without doubt this was an upright man.ഈ സംഭവിച്ചതു ശതാധിപൻ കണ്ടിട്ടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ വാസ്തവമായി നീതിമാൻ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

48 And all the people who had come together to see it, when they saw the things which were done, went back again making signs of grief.കാണ്മാൻ കൂടി വന്ന പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും സംഭവിച്ചതു കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറത്തടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

49 And all his friends and the women who came with him from Galilee, were waiting at a distance, watching these things.അവന്റെ പരിചയക്കാർ എല്ലാവരും ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചസ്ത്രീകളും ഇതു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു ദൂരത്തു നിന്നു.

50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a man of authority and a good and upright manഅരിമത്യ എന്നൊരു യെഹൂദ്യപട്ടണക്കാരനായി നല്ലവനും നീതിമാനും ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ കാത്തിരുന്നവനുമായ യോസേഫ് എന്നൊരു മന്ത്രി —

51 (He had not given his approval to their decision or their acts), of Arimathaea, a town of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God:അവൻ അവരുടെ ആലോചനെക്കും പ്രവൃത്തിക്കും അനുകൂലമല്ലായിരുന്നു —

52 This man went to Pilate and made a request for the body of Jesus.പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു യേശുവിന്റെ ശരീരം ചോദിച്ചു,

53 And he took it down, and folding it in a linen cloth, he put it in a place cut in the rock for a dead body; and no one had ever been put in it.അതു ഇറക്കി ഒരു ശീലയിൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞു പാറയിൽ വെട്ടിയിരുന്നതും ആരെയും ഒരിക്കലും വെച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതുമായ കല്ലറയിൽ വെച്ചു.

54 Now it was the day of making ready and the Sabbath was coming on.അന്നു ഒരുക്കനാൾ ആയിരുന്നു, ശബ്ബത്തും ആരംഭിച്ചു.

55 And the women who had come with him from Galilee went after him and saw the place and how his body had been put to rest;ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ പോന്ന സ്ത്രീകളും പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു കല്ലറയും അവന്റെ ശരീരം വെച്ച വിധവും കണ്ടിട്ടു

56 And they went back and got ready spices and perfumes; and on the Sabbath they took their rest, in agreement with the law.മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗവും പരിമളതൈലവും ഒരുക്കി; കല്പന അനുസരിച്ചു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ സ്വസ്ഥമായിരന്നു.
