Luke 13
1 ആ സമയത്തു തന്നേ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചിലർ പീലാത്തൊസ് ചില ഗലീലക്കാരുടെ ചോര അവരുടെ യാഗങ്ങളോടു കലർത്തിയ വർത്തമാനം അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
2 അതിന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ആ ഗലീലക്കാർ ഇതു അനുഭവിക്കായാൽ എല്ലാ ഗലീലക്കാരിലും പാപികൾ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?
3 അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെതന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
4 അല്ല, ശീലോഹാമിലെ ഗോപുരം വീണു മരിച്ചുപോയ ആ പതിനെട്ടുപേർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും കുറ്റക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?
5 അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
