וַיִּרְא֤וּ when va-yeer-OO אֹתוֹ֙ the oh-TOH הָעָ֔ם people ha-AM וַֽיְהַלְל֖וּ saw va-hahl-LOO אֶת him, et אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם they ay-loh-hay-HEM כִּ֣י praised kee אָֽמְר֗וּ ah-meh-ROO נָתַ֨ן their na-TAHN אֱלֹהֵ֤ינוּ god: ay-loh-HAY-noo בְיָדֵ֙נוּ֙ for veh-ya-DAY-NOO אֶת they et א֣וֹיְבֵ֔נוּ said, OY-VAY-noo וְאֵת֙ Our veh-ATE מַֽחֲרִ֣יב god ma-huh-REEV אַרְצֵ֔נוּ hath ar-TSAY-noo וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר delivered va-uh-SHER הִרְבָּ֖ה into heer-BA אֶת our et חֲלָלֵֽינוּ׃ hands huh-la-LAY-noo
