וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ Jephthah va-YAY-lek יִפְתָּח֙ went yeef-TAHK עִם with eem זִקְנֵ֣י the zeek-NAY גִלְעָ֔ד elders ɡeel-AD וַיָּשִׂ֨ימוּ of va-ya-SEE-moo הָעָ֥ם Gilead, ha-AM אוֹת֛וֹ and oh-TOH עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם the uh-lay-HEM לְרֹ֣אשׁ people leh-ROHSH וּלְקָצִ֑ין made oo-leh-ka-TSEEN וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר him vai-da-BARE יִפְתָּ֧ח head yeef-TAHK אֶת and et כָּל captain kahl דְּבָרָ֛יו over deh-va-RAV לִפְנֵ֥י them: leef-NAY יְהוָ֖ה and yeh-VA בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ Jephthah ba-meets-PA
