Joshua 8:22
മറ്റവരും പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു അവരുടെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേൽ ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തും അവർ നടുവിലും ആയി; ഒരുത്തനും ശേഷിക്കയോ വഴുതിപ്പോകയോ ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവരെ വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

| in the midst | לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ | lĕyiśrāʾēl | leh-yees-ra-ALE |
| of Israel, | בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ | battāwek | ba-TA-vek |
| some | אֵ֥לֶּה | ʾēlle | A-leh |
| side, this on | מִזֶּ֖ה | mizze | mee-ZEH |
| and some | וְאֵ֣לֶּה | wĕʾēlle | veh-A-leh |
| side: that on | מִזֶּ֑ה | mizze | mee-ZEH |
| and they smote | וַיַּכּ֣וּ | wayyakkû | va-YA-koo |
| that so them, | אוֹתָ֔ם | ʾôtām | oh-TAHM |
| they let | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| none | בִּלְתִּ֥י | biltî | beel-TEE |
| of them remain | הִשְׁאִֽיר | hišʾîr | heesh-EER |
| or escape. | ל֖וֹ | lô | loh |
| שָׂרִ֥יד | śārîd | sa-REED | |
| וּפָלִֽיט׃ | ûpālîṭ | oo-fa-LEET |
